About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

Folks would be wise to get a good medicinal herb garden or patch. Even a few in the flower beds.
Uncertain times and shortages dictate that we be able to do a lot more for ourselves. Big pharma or even the family doctor arent going to be so available.
Yarrow and its ability to stop bleeding is something everyone should have handy.

Back in 1977 I bought a book at a flea market with strange writing that no one at WVU foreign language knew. Fast forward to 1981, I discovered it was hand written in Cherokee. I started learning Cherokee to read it. I was a medicine manual. I sent it back to the tribe as I discovered it was stolen, but I copied it and have been slowly translating it ever since.
one of the very first things I discovered was that Thyme is a better cough suppressant than Robitussin DM (DextromothorphanHydrobromide) I remember seeing 2 different plants for tooth aches, I will shuffle back through it to find the other one.

I love all the knowledge you share with us. I've always used cloves or clove oil but it's great to have another option. Also, I have a broken tooth. Anytime I feel an abscess coming, I do a coconut pull and it goes away. I've heard that you can regrow your teeth naturally. Does anyone know how to do this or has anyone ever done it?
