@@its12gagebruh31 the honda interstate is basically a lighter weight and upgraded vtx1300, also there is the factory honda chopper the fury that has the vtx1300 on it

@@yashwingokavarapu6845 1800 is a LOT of bike to learn on. I have a VTX 1300 that I bought as a first bike and even that thing I had to be careful. No regrets though, I love it

I have the exact same bike that I just purchased a couple months ago. I like the digital display myself. It’s a personal preference. Love the channel as well as your other channel. Look forward to more videos.
Digital dashboards are great! I love mine on my 2000 Helix, don't know why the get a bad rap?
Why do people buy custom seats for the VTX, but then leave the horrific stock grips? It was the first thing I changed and it made the biggest difference!
I don't like the Speedometer being on the tank. I fabricated me a set of drag bars and welded my Speedometer on them. It's right where you can just keep your head up but still be able to see it. Sean you should have put a set of Vance and Hines Long shots exhaust system on it. Mine sounds amazing with them.

a vtx 1800 will never sound as glorious as a vtx1300 ... mine has Vance & hines pipes sounds like an old tractor.. fabulous ....period !
The 1800 is a 2 cylinder V shaped boxer racing engine. The 1300 is a Harley V-Twin engine.

There are two ways to shower and to wash your socks/underwear on an epic motorcycle trip. Even small towns have them. Any “do it yourself” car wash, most even have a garage door on each end of the bay for privacy. The other choice many travelers don’t know is truck stops. Often free showers if 50 gallons or more diesel purchased if not it can be as cheap as $10 for a private shower room. You and all of your friends in your group can pass the key around for the shower room.
I’ve done the car wash thing before several times. At the Indy 500 the first time because everyone was camped out. Truck stop showers many times.

Vans and Hines= amazing + loud
power commander is a god idea
i can run up to 80 mph with little effort.
transmission is solid and works well. (honda duh)

That's exactly what I did last year. 04 VTX1300c. It was a bit intimidating at first but after 1100 miles I can whip it around pretty good. Great bike! So glad I didn't go smaller as I would already be looking to trade up. The single pin crank gives it that lopey V-Twin sound and the V&H amplify it nicely.
Does the VTX 1800 have better stopping power than the VTX 1300 or Shadow Sabre 1100, for that matter?

lOVE MY 03 vtx 1800R. Been getting consistent 3.74 to 4 second 0-60 when stock. The trick is to not use the clutch from 1st to 2nd and do not even look for 3rd when just doing a 0-60. It is no crotch rocket it is pure badassery. Those times are cold tires cold days no burnout prior to. I figure if I cant do it on a whim no point in sayin nothin.

@@AlexTBon4073 Hope you aren't doubting his times....because I'm getting them in the same range with my 1800C. These bikes are torque monsters. They may not make the steam up top of some of the heavier hitters (VRod, M109R) but they really put the jam to the pavement in the first 1,000ft.
I have a shadow 750 right now I want a vtx 1800 so bad. I have my eye on one. I think I’m gonna snag it up by then end of the summer

i owned one 5 years ago and enjoyed it except it just doesn't have the sound , i ended up going back to a Kawasaki meanstreak 1600..much better sound and better breaks

The VTX seems like a giant Magna
Have ridden the Magna. Own two VTX's. The VTX is much more bike. Love them
The Magna is like a drag racing 1000cc crotch rocket,,,,. With ground clearance to hit the twisties hard,,,,,. 750cc Cruiser,,,,,, all V,,, type Motors.. are garbage compared to a straight. 4.. or a V4. Parallel twins are the next best,. !!!!! The Magnum is a 10000 RPM engine,,,,,
Modern day Magna, I suppose? The VTX will come out of the hole harder, but it's hard to argue that Magan's V4 top end charge. It would walk away from a VTX 1800 pretty soundly on a highway run.
Where do you get the shield
No such thing as a nice Corbin seat !!! Leather covered brick.
You can reupholster seat yourself with the new Purple cushions and wrap it in a washable liner or just boat vinyl. Just cut them to fit and put some real good glue under it.
It’s faster than a sportbike to 100 tho. I walk them off the line. They have the top end. But by 100 I’m letting off. Lol

Love my 04 VT1100C but 2 up is a bit much for her. Bet your 1800 is great for 2 up.
My vt was great 2 up plenty of power

If I had the chance to get this bike, I totally would. But...I will agree, I do not like the digital speedometer on this bike. I like the look of the bike with the original speedometers for typical cruising bikes. I just don't think it fits the style of the bike myself. Being said, I wouldn't/don't hate the digital speedometer on the Honda Goldwing. It just...fits the bike. LOL I guess you could say "If it fits, it ships!" XD

I had a vtx 1800 then got a Yamaha Raider. The raider will stomp the vtx!
Me thinks you no realize the raider is a newer bike. I also think you do not realize how important the skills of a rider are when racing someone. You would lose to my VTX and if hell froze over and you did win I would jump on my Valkyrie and smoke ya ass.

roger hurd you should seek help you take a statement about motorcycle performance way to personally. get all butthurt about the raider having better performance. it's a true statement. know it for a fact. pushed both of them across the back ass mountain roads. Nobody is impressed with your "you know bestness".
