Thanks for sharing a great video. I have seen the Super Hornet demo'd many times, but that demo is the best I've seen. And he did do some very F22-like moves. Surprised the heck out of me.

@@sierramatchking7126 To be fair HARV was based off the legacy F/A18 hornet, not the current Superhornet.
To be really fair it was just a simply attachment that could be easily modified to fit.
@@Xrm150 There was the software changes, the thrust vectoring components and the front end parts. More than just a simple attachment. But of course anything can be modified to fit anything. The Superhornet marketing was ingenious. they made the sale on similarities when in reality the 2 planes are very different.

This aircraft can do cobra as what su30's & mig21 are boasting and also can do maneuvers w the missiles & pylons attached to it.
More like the best camera (video) recording ever. The F/A18-Hornet is an awesome piece of machinery but the newer F-22 Raptor and especially the F-35 Lightning II(Joint Strike Fighter) are just so much more fun to watch as long as the pilot knows how to show them off.

Easily the best F-18 demonstration I've ever seen. The pilot definitely knew his/her plane. I don't think I would have wanted to be in the back seat with all of those Negative Gs they were pulling. Nicely done!

super hornet advanced is great and should be the fighter USN buy . With the F35 its a fearsome combination . airshow tricks are great for us to see , but not relivant in combat .
F-16 and F-18 would eat the F-35 for breakfast if it came down to a dog fight.

Reply Soon that’s why they have the F-18’s, they will do that job when it comes down to it, and the F-35 will do the other jobs, and phantom pilot were weren’t really taught how to dog fight,and the F-35 pilots are.
@@rasheedpatterson8188 F-35 is replacing the F-18 and F-16 on aircraft carriers though so that won't be the case for too much longer. It's also replacing the land based F-15 in many respects. The F-35 will eventually have to dogfight some time in the future. It's unavoidable. Every model of fighter jet and interceptor had to dog fight because it was either try or be burned alive in the sky. The USAF and Navy know this that is why [as you stated] the F-35 pilots are in fact trained to dog fight. They learned a lesson during Vietnam. F-4 pilots were taught how to dog fight and intercept other planes but it wasn't a priority because USA didn't expect to fight the Soviet military directly. They thought they were only fighting the Viet Cong and Chinese.

@kunjidee. No, the F-18 is CTOL. You might be thinking of either the Harrier or the F-35.

I used a Sony Handycam. Older model HDR-10. It was in my hands the whole time. I don't like Tri-Pods, or Uni-Pods. =) Glad you enjoyed the video.

The F-22 is a newbie's favorite demo... A true connoisseur watches that F/A-18E/F demo and appreciates that it's pulling pitch rates and AOAs that rival the F-22 WITHOUT thrust vectoring and less than 1/4 the price tag.
Never seen the square loop performed from crowd right. Also, it sucks that the response from the 122 crash was to remove the loaded roll from the demo. As far as I'm concerned that was the Sbug's signature maneuver... The demo lost a whole lot of impact with it gone.

Great video. But have you used Warp Stabilizer in post Production? There are some strange effects in the video. CZcams has also a stabilizer program.

I've never seen one of the newer F/A-18E/F super hornets fly at an air show (only the C and D models) are they any louder than the earlier Hornets
I am not really sure. But I know the Navy Tac Demo squad only has select Hornets they fly. Navy Tac Demo Squad is on facebook and they are very friendly and I am sure would answer any question you have.
thanks, I've seen the older hornets fly countless times at air shows but have yet to see a Super Hornet in action, I hope i will in the future, as of now the loudest aircraft I've ever heard was by far the F-22 Raptor (which i saw in 2009) I look forward to seeing it again at Rhode island next week as well as the USN Blue Angels.

Why do they display the twin-seated F-18F? The single seated F-18E has lower weight and is more aerodynamic-efficient. It would have performed slightly better.

Until this video I never really thought too highly of the Super Hornet. That pilot performed some impressive maneuvers almost like it had thrust vectoring. Very impressive as was your camera work!

I know that the f22 and the f35 are very fun to watch they have had problems and oxygen malfunction in the cock pits so that so sad because I really thought they were going to be the best but for know I'm sticking withe f-15 se and the fa18e super hornet

F-18 as good but it inferior the demo the Rafale fighter Jet from France. It fly continuous motion throughout the demonstration.
You're not making much sense there. Try to explain that second sentence more clearly. What do you mean "IT:? The Rafale or the Superbug?
