The kid who made the hammock though. Not too shabby, if it held up all night. My late son, when he was 12 years old, learned to make an emergency hammock and emergency sandals out of paracord, only. He also learned how to tie a bazilion different knots, [including my fave, the 🍍 knot]. He also made 8 different patterns of beautiful paracord bracelets, and also paracord flower necklaces that I hung on the rearview mirror of my car, for years. He would also wrap/weave raw knife handles with paracord.
Those were really cool, and hey never came loose.

I had one of them things when I was a kid and my cousin stayed over one night and slept in it and he pissed in it while he was asleep and my mom washed it but after that every time you’d sleep in it, it’d turn your legs red so we had to throw it away.
