The race takes place in Kitzbühel, one of the most iconic and difficult stops on the circuit. This time the mountain is a beast, making half of the competitors ski out of the course.
Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen is trigged to become the next dominant skier in the alpine tour. But he constantly gets pushed by his biggest rival Marchel Hirscher. The Austrian is considered to be the best alpine skier in history. But they both got beaten by the 19 years old Clément Noël who won the podium.

I really miss being in big races for me the bigger the better the more excited I would be and I would ski better too. .
I never got to that point. I started racing late as a senior in high school. I rapidly got better and was able to get my GS points down to the 80s (under the USSA’s old system which started at 990) in only 2 years; but I blew my knee out in DH before I even got to ski in a FIS race. I knew plenty of people who went on to ski for the US Team though.
P.S., I made the mistake of skiing on my college ski team with only 2 years experience. When I went to race DH, I did it without a coach because NCAA rules prohibited college coaches from coaching speed; and I just didn’t have enough experience in speed events to ski without a coach. 😢
Did a race at hinterreit , loved it came 2nd in the slalom.

Sorry the super bowl ski racing is no longer the hardest ski race on the world cup circuit was canceled because the hill was so difficult and that hill was sugar bowl california.
