I bought Hyundai xcent from cardekho
They said that they did complete service of the car before delivery
Started noticing some problems with clutch,brakes, steering....went to their authorised service centre
Expected bill was above 17k.
(And my car was still in warranty)
Went to one of my known mechanic.... He just opened the coolant cap.... And showed us that entire coolant was mixed with black thick oil.
Gave him the car... And got it repaired
Don't buy from cardekho..... Or atleast get it checked completely with a mechanic then buy it.

What will happen if we use full quantity of pure concentrated coolant in the radiator instead of mixing water in it ?
It will not help in dissipation of heat properly. Water is required to thin it and let heat escape more quickly.

Distilled water is mostly not recommended by manufacturers. You can read user manuals as well. For example for Tata Nexon it is clearly mentioned that you need to mix antifreeze with Soft Water. Only requirement is that the water should not leave any scale residue behind when it is boiled and RO water or bottled drinking water is the best choice to fulfill the need. Distilled water being extremely pure removes electrons from metal parts of cooling system and can do extreme damage. It is a well known fact for years now.

Not completely correct, distilled water will only corrode metal till an equilibrium state is reached post which there is no further corrosion but soft water, tap water would continue corroding for a very long time and will take decades to reach equilibrium state due to n number of impurities ( say minerals, etc). Also, in a closed loop, distilled water cannot cause corrosion, so it's best to use Distilled water with coolant concentrate or a premix coolant. I had used tap water with coolant and lost a freeze plug due to corrosion. If you have a vehicle that has cast iron engine block, never use tap water, drinking water can still be used to some extent, for aluminum blocks, you can use a wider range of water type due to aluminium anti corrosive nature, the only thing that can go wrong with Al blocks is the head gasket in most cases.

Mere mechanic ne Toyota ka genuine pre-mix Pink coolant ka level low ho gaya tha to usne wurth concentrated ka pink vale coolant se top-up kar diya he (Around 200 ml top-up kiya hoga) meri etios car me.

@@aakudev But the company is different. originally it had Toyota made pink pre mix coolant and now it has wurth pink concentrated one. Are you sure won't cause any major issue?
@@ParthMaru11 Company doesnt matter much, the coolant colour itself denotes a grade. Pink is a HOAT coolant, you can switch brands in the same coolant grade, but mixing pink with blue or green is not recommended.

Brother understand the basics
Water is the best resource for heat transfer from the engine and
Coolant is the best resource to antifreeze and antirust in the engine partical.
If u use full water only heat will be transfer well but the corrosion rate in engine partical will increase . And plus water boiling point is less and hence will evaporate
And if u mixed only coolant there will be no heat transfer as compared to water which is best in heat transfer.
Think the basic and understand.
Using both coolant and water mix 50:50 as per manual
The heat will be transferred well . Your coolant won't be freeze in - degrees and the engine partical internal part won't be corroded. And plus both coolant and water combined water boiling point and freezing point increases.
So now it's your call what u prefer.

I have skoda rapid tdi engine recently I flushed the oem coolant completely(skoda recommends G12 Evo coolant purple color) and then I filled with Shell pink color coolant, is it fine or should I again fill with oem coolant?
Sir mere pass vento diesel hain jismein pehle pink color ka coolant tha....but beech main pura flush kiya tha aur green coolant use Kiya hain...so top up karne ke liye konsa company ka green coolant use Karu ..
Never use green coolant in your TDI. Flush it and use only OEM G13 or coolants that have VW G13 approval. G13 coolants are glycerine based coolants that contains special additives to protect against corrosion. If your coolant tank says G12±±, you can also use it. But not green...
Some big content creator in this mechanical field suggests the usage of concentrated coolant directly without any dilution.
Never do that, concentrated coolant will not have the same heat dissipating qualities as a diluted one. And if you are living in hilly states like Uttarakhand, HP and others where temperature goes way below zero, concentrated coolant has a very high chance of freezing. There is a reason it's called concentrated.

Bottle pe likha hoga concentrated hai ya diluted. Mostly jitna mujhe pata hai concentrated hai ecstar ka i always dilute and use. But do check the back of the bottle to confirm.

Check your in cabin air filter, change if dirty. Also, use recirculation mode not fresh air.

Now I'm using Liqui moli fully synthetic engine oil.
Some smoke comes when I remove the dip stick and few drops of oil jumps within the dip stick hole.

VW TDI engines use G13 /G12++ coolants (pink). If you do not wish go with the OEM coolant, you can go for Liqui Moly KFS 13 or Rowe antifreeze AN 13. Both are German products and both have VW approvals(G13) mentioned in the product data sheet. I believe TSI engines also use the same coolant.

Wiper fluid always use distilled or ro water mixed with wiper solution.
