Welcome back! Let's continue with "Rahdo's Goofs"
Let's Hope Richard Didn't eat anymore Cheese!!
- 0:22 Richard is wrong in his assumptions...
And he forgot to move the hourglass in the timer also...
From Plaid Hat Web Site: (www.plaidhatgames.com/sum_foru...) Question 22
Q- When a mouse is captured by Abduction, do you move the hourglass marker forward? And do you still have to kill all the baddies before you can rescue him, or does he just get rescued the first time a mouse successfully searches?
A- Hourglass moves, baddies must be cleared, a successful search must happen, and in which case, you get no search card, you get the captured mouse back as reward.
- 15:09 These are roaches, they steal cheese if they can instead of causing damage so no damage to Colin he just loses a cheese
- 16:14 Again, no damage for Filch... he just loses a cheese
- 17:31 He can only search for Maginos after all the minions are dead
- 17:49 he cannot attack because he already did an action, search... he could only move
- 24:38 You only roll defense if there's at least 1 hit... even if you have no chance of defending all hits you roll for defense... if there are no hits you don't roll for defense
- 27:50 Again he couldn't search for Maginos until all minions were defeated
- 33:42 Also the Hourglass should have advanced one page!
- 35:33 No he doesn't... no hits means no defense rolled
- 37:50 Why are you picking up cheese Richard?? It's only when you roll for attack or defense :)
- 38:57 He can't do a search because he already did a search in this room
- 39:56 Filch can't use this weapon because it requires lore of 3 and he only has 1
- 41:21 He gets a one?? Richard is just insane at this point! :p
- 42:08 When Brodie Pounces he goes to the place with the most figurines, in this case it would be the 3 Roaches at the top of the table
- 43:35 No he doesn't because clawbitter wasn't the top card on the deck... Filch had searched for 3 cards and spent 2 cheese that he didn't get back now
- 44:43 he can't because he doesn't have lore of 3!!
- 48:19 Maginos didn't have enough movement to get on the table
- 48:29 No... it's 3 hits... Maginos was captured again
- 52:30 OMG!!! GOOFS GALLORE!! THIS HAS GOT TO BE A WORLD RECORD!! PAULO IS SPENT!!!
Dude man, you're hilarious. You just never stop talking. hahahaha
You dont get "cheese" while "searching"!
I think one thing that might help a bit with Brody is that he actually is not placed with both cards at the bottom of the initiative track, but he has the ambush rule. So the top card of Brody is moved up the amount rolled on a single dice. Otherwise Brody would be even stronger...as in your play through.
thanks a lot mate! we are in the middle of a brodie fight and his rules are not so clear
Poor Paulo!
Great video! Thanks for making this!
If you got knocked down, you can still attack and defend, just not move :) (around 24)
Claw biter requires lore of 3 to be used so Maginos (and maybe Nez?) is only one who can use it.
Tilda could have used first aid, she's a healer, healers pay 1 less cheese.
Poor Paulo
did you make that dice tray/box yourself?
nope you can order them here: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/customdicebox
If i am correct at 5:15 when you said that the mice can find Maginos in another room that would be incorrect because i believe that the rules say only in the room a mouse is lost can he be found.
I also thought the same thing but Richard is actually right, you can find Maginos (or any other mouse) in any other room, it doesn't make much sense but it's true
The rules say you can’t find a captured mouse while minions are on the board. Page 17.
Not sure if you've played them, but would you put these on par with the D&D board games like Castle Ravenloft?
Love your videos by the way.
we played ravenloft and thougth it was nice. jen didn't like it because of the non-stop pressure it puts you under. the story telling in M&M is WAAAAY better (best of class really), but the gameplay is a bit stronger in ravenloft, it think... :)
Kris, here's a comparative review of the D&D Board Games and Mice & Mystics: boardgamegeek.com/article/14793826#14793826
HarzerMichael thank you!
at 34:20 brody could have pounced on the tree roaches on the table right?
yeah he can pounce up there too :)
***** was wondering why you had him pouncing the mice when the most "figures" were the three roaches... :P Filch/Maginos didn't need to sacrifice themselves at all!
+Joseph Permann he could have pounced up there , but he had pounced on the previous turn and hit Colin and the 3 roaches since it targets the space with the most minions then the atk he was doing on 34.20 was chase which target specifically the mice
