- How To Deal With Returns For Wholesale Dropshipping On Amazon and Walmart
Let's be honest, returns suck. This is the least exciting aspect of running a dropshipping business. That's why in this video, I go over how to deal returns when running a dropshipping business.
1: Return policies depend on your supplier so it's important to make sure they have favorable terms.
You want to look for information about restocking fees, return window, and if they will replace damaged items. Not every supplier will accept returns.
2: After confirming your supplier's return policies you can decide if they will work in your business. If they do, then set up your business to work around you suppliers terms. This could mean adding their address to your sales channels or having customers ship items back to them.
3: Returns also depend on the platform the sale is happening on.
Tailor your strategy for that specific marketplace like Amazon, eBay, or Walmart.

How are you dealing with Amazon's new return policy?
In my experience, return rarely happens so that's a good thing, I usually cover the customer return fee
sent to return warehouse, inspect if needed and return back to supplier
@@thainguyeno return attribute override has still been working for me
@@Chandler890 I wish I could say the same. Since the automatic returns, I have seen a huge increase in returns.
@@thainguyeno That's what I'm leaning towards. I also am trimming my catalog to include more FBM items $100-$300 so they are exempt from the prepaid label program.
Always bringing that A1 content bro! 🔥🔥
You already know!
Very informative.Thank you brother.
That's really good advice!
Thanks for the support.
@@Noah_Mincis You're welcome!
Where do you sent your return?besides home adress? Thanks.
Since Amazon is now ignoring the return rule overrides I'm testing out the new rule that they have now about "item is over $100" to see if that works. I also uploaded to my items that are not $100 and are below that threshold. Hoping that works for those as well. At this point, i haven't gotten a return since I've updated the overrides so here's to hoping it helps stop the bleed.
Eventually, they'll probably go the way of Walmart and require everything to be returned unfortunately.
@@Noah_Mincis That sucks i could totally see that. Hopefully not til after the Q4 return period is over so it won't be so disastrous for us.
Great info. Thank you.

Being a drop shipper on amazon, returns are the things which affect me the most. Customers can easily manipulate when we are so much afraid that they don't go straight to amazon and share product details where I am not the SOR ( SELLER OF RECORD)
Yup. It's definitely gotten harder but that's part of the game. I'm testing now sending items to return centers and shipping more FBA in order to help manage and streamline returns.
@@Noah_Mincis Noah how you deal with suspensions I am trying my ass hard to get away with drop shipping violation as account remains on alert. I am only getting automated generic responses
What do you do for Cj?
Can you please cover the topic on how you cope with retail dropshipping returns.
I don't retail dropship so I can't specifically talk about that but it is similar to wholesale. You need to have a way for the returns to get back to your supplier. You can either send them back to yourself and then package them or you can send them to a return center to do it for you. With wholesale, you can set up your supplier as a return center and then send the item directly to them.
Thanks. Got it. But what as for money? So, I refund the customer, customer sends the item to the supplier's warehouse. And who refunds me: the supplier or that big online store in which they sold that item? Just if you know
Retail dropship returns are easy life
Yeah, one thing that retail will always have on wholesale.
I just started to use a return center and so far it makes it pretty easy. Just upload your label and they handle it.
Hello Noah great video. Wanted to ask if you would be willing to share the return center that you use? Thank you so much for your time.
New sub!
Thank you Tony. More videos coming soon.
I was working on walmart account, but recently, it got deactivated due to vtr , can anyone guide me ,i have lot of amount stuck in my account, asking for help plz
Was it just suspended or terminated?
Do you have 2 different Amazon accounts? One for FBA and a separate account for dropshipping?
Same account.
can you give the names of the return centers that you use?
I just started using www.dradislogistics.com/ who handles returns from amazon.
