“I trust in Brandon Sanderson, the last book is going to come out...” I’m looking at you Patrick Rothfuss. (Also can’t help commenting on how cute your look is in this video, you’re killing the style game!💃🏼)
Dennis Barros I’ve been getting more into YA recently so I’ve been hitting some of the more popular series to get started. Flew through all four of the Caster Chronicles in a week, then I hit the Red Queen series for two weeks, then the last week I got through Six of Crows and Three Dark Crowns. And I only read one at a time, I find if I try to balance two I just end up neglecting one of them. Honestly it was just a really good month for me, I’m not normally that fast! Absolutely loved all the books I chose so I flew through them
I recently went bookshopping and picked up a couple books I remembered you mentioning that were really good! Usually I try not to buy a lot, but your videos really awaken the bibliophile in me
the dance of thieves cover is soooo pretty, I definitely need to check out the remnant chronicles because it sounds like a great series and I love when authors release new series in the same world ☺️
I just had a baby so I don’t have much time to read and want to choose good books since I get around to reading 1 or 2 a month. So my TBR pretty much follows your read books because I usually like what you like ☺️ I want to thank you for taking the time to talk about all these books in detail and posting these videos. I also love the way you try to emphasize the good even in the books you don’t like much. You’re a great booktuber 💖
I finally finished my first Sanderson, Elantris, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to you and a few other Sanderson loving booktubers, I'm excited to start Mistborn sometime this month and this new series sounds amazing too.
I'm currently reading Words of Radiance. About 620 pages in. Such a great series. I read Warbreaker right before this and that was a GREAT experience. Loved it.
Sorry to hear you had such an up and down reading month! I did too - some I liked, some were meh, and some I loved. And I'm finally caught up on the Throne of Glass series!
This was a really good month for reading for me as well! I always get down, and go into a reading slump during winter (your spring) but I’m out of it now and read 10 books!
I really adored DoT. Funny how you got a mob vibe from the Ballengers! I can see that now, though initially I didn’t get that vibe. I got more of a powerful Governor type society that deserved sovereignty. What a great month for you, Reagan!
I read We have Always Lived in the Castle, Dreamwalker, Golden Son, Orphan Train and The Immortalists in August :) I really want to start reading books by Brandon Sanderson but I first want to finish all the series by Robin Hobb as I've become obsessed and I don't want to read two epic fantasy series at the same time x)
ah well done on 8 books ! i managed 9 books (though most were smol) but im still pretty proud :) i just wanted to say i really enjoy your channel and content and yeah... *hugs :)
i don't remember if you've read warbreker, but it just hit me you should've definitely read that before oathbringer ! not to get too spoilery, but there's a lot of crossover between the two!
YAS OATHBRINGER! :D I found the first that I enjoyed the two in the series more than I liked Oathbringer (I still gave all three books 5/5 stars). Oathbringer felt more political to me than the first two, like moving chess pieces around so they're in the right situations for book 4. But I still loved it. I always want more Kaladin, hahaha :P
Great reads for August! Quick question though, I just got 'Dance Of Thieves' but did not realize when I ordered it, that it's set in the world from her other series. So do you think I should read those before I read this book? Thanks!!
I wish I had your motivation :/ I'm a Lit. major and I get bored of the books we read throughout the semester to the point that I can't look at any other book for a while...
Do you have to read The Kiss of Deception to read the Dance of Thieves? The Dance of Thieves sounds way better to me, but I feel like I need to read the other books first.
I didnt care for the second book that you read but I may re read it and try to give it another chance. I'm surprise you haven't read it yet. I gave it a 2/5 stars!
Thank you for the video! My favorite books I read in Aug are: Wolf by Wolf, Royals by Rachel Hawkins, Batman by Marie Lu, Us Against You by Frederik Backman, and All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. Would you recommend Brandon Sanderson to people who don't read a lot of fantasy or no? Have a good day!
Rebekah Mackenzie of course! Though Maybe i would start with something like warbreaker which at the moment is a stand alone. Words of radiance can be overwhelming because each volume so far released in over 1000 pages. Good luck!
I had very mixed feelings on The Queen's Rising too. I didn't love it, I didn't hate it. It was just okay. The plot was predictable and made me roll my eyes repeatedly. But I will check out the sequel at some point.
Do you need to read the Remnant Chronicles before you need Dance of Thieves? It sounds so entertaining and I’m get Shadowhunter feels again since the lead male character is called Jace.
No I don’t think so! The book does explain things in the plot that happened in the Remnant Chronicles so it’s easy to follow. But I’d still recommend it cos it’s a great series!!!!!
You CAN, but it spoils the other series and a lot of the historical context that's being talked about in DoT is actual events of the Remnant Chronicles, so I'd recommend reading that series first. It's great. :)
Do you read only books from United States? For me, this is boring. We've a whole world of great books and authors, it's not so good read books from only one country.
You’re making me want to read Brandon Sanderson and I haven’t been into epic fantasy in awhile. Also, Dance of Thieves sounds so good and I think I’d really like it!
I AM SORRY I FORGOT TO TURN MY AC OFF!
PeruseProject The sound of the AC is weirdly pleasing though 😂
I though it was my AC
Been there 😂 my wall unit is so loud and I film right next to it!
Honestly didn't even notice it until you pointed it out, I don't think that it was that bad.
Girl, stay cool. It’s hot as hades out there
So much Brandon Sanderson so little time
same but also dedicating all my time lol
“I trust in Brandon Sanderson, the last book is going to come out...” I’m looking at you Patrick Rothfuss.
(Also can’t help commenting on how cute your look is in this video, you’re killing the style game!💃🏼)
TheDailyMundane same here with George RR Martin!? Actually I have no hope. 😥
"I have read 8 books in the month of August"
Me: *slowly hides behind my second book of the month*
Don't worry. I read just one book in august. No big deal.
i don’t know what it is it might even be the lightning but this video looks really really visually pleasing
Thank you!!
I know right!
take a shot every time regan says ‘that being said’
Lift genuinely makes me smile every time she shows up. Her whole rationale for calling Dalinar Tight Butt is genius.
Your bookshelves are so pleasing to look at 😍
Thank you!
I agree!
I read 10 books in August! Most of them over 400 pages! It feels so good to get through so much on my shelf 🙌🏻
Girl ur a super hero
Which books did you read? Also, do you read 1 at a time or do you balance a few books ?
Dennis Barros I’ve been getting more into YA recently so I’ve been hitting some of the more popular series to get started. Flew through all four of the Caster Chronicles in a week, then I hit the Red Queen series for two weeks, then the last week I got through Six of Crows and Three Dark Crowns. @@AbbeyKat That's impressive. I'm Glad you enjoyed all of them.
I recently went bookshopping and picked up a couple books I remembered you mentioning that were really good! Usually I try not to buy a lot, but your videos really awaken the bibliophile in me
the cover for dance of thieves is gorgeous!!
I know it is truly a beauty
the dance of thieves cover is soooo pretty, I definitely need to check out the remnant chronicles because it sounds like a great series and I love when authors release new series in the same world ☺️
I am loving how she’s uploading all the time! It truly makes my day

Grace Leonard Mistborn is a great place to start in my opinion.
congrats on the amazing reading month!! you go girl
I love how passionate you are about reading and books... I watch your videos and immediately want to go and read.
I’m so happy u just give your true opinion and don’t say it’s good if you don’t find it good
I just had a baby so I don’t have much time to read and want to choose good books since I get around to reading 1 or 2 a month. I love your wrap ups Regan! Thanks for sharing your passion for reading. It certainly inspires me to read more.

I love your hair scarf
Awesome!!! Thanks for giving me more recommendations for the rest of the year
totally agree on seraphina...
I finished Words of Radiance this month too!!! This series is fantastic😍
Omg Dance of Thieves cover is so pretty wow!!! 😍
yeah I just want to spend the rest of my life staring at it lol
It kinda makes up to how The Remnant Chronicles covers are low-key ugly
I finally finished my first Sanderson, Elantris, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to you and a few other Sanderson loving booktubers, I'm excited to start Mistborn sometime this month and this new series sounds amazing too.
Your hair looks so cute!
Obsessed with your hair, style, and background in this video!
Damn, you look so good in this video! It's almost like you're glowing!
I'm currently reading Words of Radiance. About 620 pages in. Such a great series. I read Warbreaker right before this and that was a GREAT experience. Loved it.

Thank you for being a "REAL" reader...love your channel
I'm procrastinating watching this video. 😂❤
Same!
Thanks to you, I started The way of kings too... Its awesome..
Can't wait to read Dance of Thieves! I love Mary E Pearson's books and the Remnant Chronicles is one of my favorite 😍😍😍
Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination.
I had a pretty tough reading month with a lot of 2 star reads, but I loved The Hating Game and it was my favorite of the month :)
i bought way of kinds today because of you. i am very excited to read it. :)
I really adored DoT. Funny how you got a mob vibe from the Ballengers! I can see that now, though initially I didn’t get that vibe. I got more of a powerful Governor type society that deserved sovereignty. What a great month for you, Reagan!
I read the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy this month because I wanted to read all of the books before I saw the Netflix movie. 😊
Serving looks Reagan!
I loved Edgedancer so much!! I was so sad when it was over. People were way too hard on it in the Goodreads reviews.
I finished GodsGrave by Jay Kristoff yesterday and loved it!
You look so adorbs in this video 👌🏻
Great honest reviews!
I just read The Way of Kings and it is AMAZING!
I read We have Always Lived in the Castle, Dreamwalker, Golden Son, Orphan Train and The Immortalists in August :) I really want to start reading books by Brandon Sanderson but I first want to finish all the series by Robin Hobb as I've become obsessed and I don't want to read two epic fantasy series at the same time x)
i want to read dance of thieves so bad but first i need to read the remnant chronicles which i am also so excited to dive into
Your reviews and aesthetic are just👌🏻😍🙌🏻 can we get more clay videos please!?!?
I seriously need to start reading Brandon Sanderson!
You do! He's amazing. I've read 8 of his books so far. 5 of them being Cosmere books. They are all very well done.
I am going to read every Brandon Sanderson books after I finish my reading challenge.
I managed to read 12 books in august
Which Books did you read?
ah well done on 8 books ! i managed 9 books (though most were smol) but im still pretty proud :) i just wanted to say i really enjoy your channel and content and yeah... *hugs :)
I gave up on reading Legion by Sanderson, might have to check it out again later
i don't remember if you've read warbreker, but it just hit me you should've definitely read that before oathbringer ! not to get too spoilery, but there's a lot of crossover between the two!
I’m totally going to pick it up in September!!
YAS OATHBRINGER! :D
I found the first that I enjoyed the two in the series more than I liked Oathbringer (I still gave all three books 5/5 stars). Oathbringer felt more political to me than the first two, like moving chess pieces around so they're in the right situations for book 4. But I still loved it. I always want more Kaladin, hahaha :P

If you’d like some more mob fantasy stuff... Jade City is so great!
Omg!!! How did you do all that reading??? By the way you are so beautiful in this video!!! Love from Greece!!! 😘
I wish I had your motivation :/ I'm a Lit. major and I get bored of the books we read throughout the semester to the point that I can't look at any other book for a while...
I'm a Sanderson newbie but desperately want to get into his books, so would you recommend I read Mistborn or The Way of Kings first?
Try reading The Wake Trilogy by Lisa McMann. It's a diary kind of reading experience if that makes any sense.
Reagan, are you going to do a Stromlight Archive review?
If you’re looking for a fun fall MG novel, Holly Black’s Doll Bones has oodles of Halloween vibes 👻 Creepers!
I have never read any Brandon Sanderson yet. I bought Mistborn but I’m kind of procrastinating picking it up for some reason!
He is so amazing and I promise so easy to read!
PeruseProject I need to get to it soon!!
Pick it up! 😊
Chace Emmett Dawn I will next!
The Mistborn Trilogy is amazing. When I finished Book 3 I was completely destroyed lol. Such a mind blowing experience.
1300 pages!!!
Do you have to read The Kiss of Deception to read the Dance of Thieves? The Dance of Thieves sounds way better to me, but I feel like I need to read the other books first.
On the table of contents in my copy of Oathbringer, it says, "Book Two: Oathbringer". Does your copy also have that typo?
Where is your watch from?
Do you have to read any of The Remnant Chronicles to know what’s going on in Dance of Thieves?
hey, it would be a good idea to put a list of the books mentioned in the video:)
Can you read Dance of Thieves without having read The Remnant Chronicles?
I didnt care for the second book that you read but I may re read it and try to give it another chance. I'm surprise you haven't read it yet. I gave it a 2/5 stars!
The Book Of M. Go in blind, enjoy the ride.
Hi Regan! Are you going to read Markus Zusak's new novel (Bridge of Clay) ???
Yesssssss
I've just decided to start Misery--I put Crazy Rich Asians aside for it. I'm going on a bit of Stephen King bender up to Halloween!
I felt exactly the same as you about Seraphina, I just didn’t connect fully with it
Thank you for the video!

No I don’t think so! The book does explain things in the plot that happened in the Remnant Chronicles so it’s easy to follow.
But I’d still recommend it cos it’s a great series!!!!!
You don’t have to but I would recommend it!
What's the difference between YA fiction and Adult fiction? Why do you prefer YA? just curious!!
Do you need to read the other books before you read dance of thieves?
Flan W I asked the author on twitter and she said you can read it as a stand alone but it does have spoilers to the previous series.
You CAN, but it spoils the other series and a lot of the historical context that's being talked about in DoT is actual events of the Remnant Chronicles, so I'd recommend reading that series first. It's great. :)
hi! do you only read YA?
i couldn't get into the way of kings
Have you read Arcanum Unbound? it's Cosmere Novellas by Sanderson :)
In Brandon Sanderson I trust.
Tears Of A Murderer - Life of a Serial Murderer
Google Play Books & Kobo Books
i read 27 books in august LMAOO
Do you read only books from United States? For me, this is boring. We've a whole world of great books and authors, it's not so good read books from only one country.
Why are you yelling?
you’re making me want to read Sanderson, but I just cannot support a homophobic writer...
You’re making me want to read Brandon Sanderson and I haven’t been into epic fantasy in awhile. Also, Dance of Thieves sounds so good and I think I’d really like it!
I am reading Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett...soooo good so far! And Sanderson has a blurb on the cover #SandersonApproved 😂
