Today we are covering everything we know so far about the new Prismatic subclass, as well the new Exotic Class Items coming in the Final Shape. All of this is to ask the question, will Prismatic & Exotic Class items kill our current builds?

As a Titan main i truly believe that builds are temporary, but these hands are eternal.
W comment
Preach brotha, preach!
As a fellow Titan , this is my philosophy
Bars. I didn't see banner of war in the aspects, so anyone and everyone can catch these hands
Those edz dregs will shiver in their timbers when I activate my transcendence
Im just realizing that conditional finality was forshadowing what Final Shape would add.
We all thought it was a random crazy exotic but it was a taste of whats to come.
I think the whole raid was foreshadowing that idea. Resurrecting dark beings using the light no? Just to see those beings granted access to light and darkness.
Then the idea was that the condition to achieve finality is death. Ultimately I think we are being tricked into killing the witness. Cause he can only be granted the light through death. Just my speculation though.
Actually they Forshadowed the Prismatic when they "Accidently" added a shader called "Prismatic" and they said "That shader doesn't Exist so we will be removing it in the next update" Which they did!. This was before the Root of Nightmares was even a thing.
Same with Tesselation
@@darkstar_sierra1588 huh? I think that was obviously understood. I think all aspects of the raid are foreshadowing a grander aspect of converging light and darkness. That is what was articulated from my perspective.
I genuinely think Prismatic is going to be a similar experience to multicasting in D&D. Mechanically, in D&D you multiclass to either get wider utility, or to specialize in a very specific way that can't be achieved via a single class.
And not everybody multiclasses in D&D even in tables that use it, so it'll likely be the same for going mono-element vs Prismatic in Destiny as well.
Whoever edited this did an incredible job. This is a seriously high quality video. Great job.
What makes it a new class and not just every class is that they are not adding everything to it. Instead you have to balance light and dark skills they choose.
Basically it’s been prenerfed like new mountain top 😔 so it’s not worth the time.
Yes but only being able to use the new class item is what's going to truly kill the old subclasses imo
@projectxrapture Yeah but let's take well for example. If you want to run well do you really care if you can run sunbracers and phoenix protocol together if you can run well?
There are a bunch of things like that.
Bro… pls use your brain. Do you honestly think Bungie will limit us just to what we are getting in TFS? This is just the beginning they’re gonna keep adding more to it. That’s why D3 makes sense they are trying to remove the other subclasses and just make prismatic our main tree
@blebreton06 Not at all! It'll be amazing mixing different status effects together. It'll be great but different. Combos will be amazing in their own unique ways.
Heart Of Inmost Light & Star Eater perks together is literally a Super Sayian Guardian
Heart of inmost light plus frosties is all I could think of ngl
or that one warlock helm that gives regen of abilities eye of world or something
Or they could just allow us to equip an exotic in every slot and let us have real fun
put celestial nighthawk and star eater scales together and you can hit as hard as the death star
@@subzero308sounds like a bad idea lol
In the "leak" that Paul Tassi reviewed in his Forbes article, it said Bungie was working towards making all classes and subclasses irrelevant by allowing you to choose whatever abilities and whatever supers you want. I would love to see this. I've been hoping for it since Strand was announced in the Lightfall Vidoc. Prismatic is clearly beta testing for that eventuality. Since it is only beta testing, I can easily say no, Prismatic will not kill our current builds. But one day, probably a D3 day, hopefully, it will.
Right now I'm contemplating Felwinter's Helm with Lightning Surge and Arcane Needle for three charges of a jolting/suppressing melee. If there is a Spirit of Felwinter's and Spirit of Assassin's Cowl exotic class item...💯
My thoughts exactly bro, Just like how Halo reach abilities was basically a beta/test for D1, Prismatic is defiantly a beta test to whats to come for D3.
This was my first thought when I watched the update trailer. This was a great vid ty!!
Full quote: Jack of all trades, master of none, Though oftentimes better than a master of one.
I always hate how often its cut short :)
My mentality when power leveling in skyrim
Unless it’s strand titan and sunbracers warlock
@@thomash8513 sunbracers warlock is good, but I can imagine in some areas the shear amount of add clear along with devour on warlock could have its uses
@@EepyGirlLava nope if it’s not a gm sunbracers is just better it could be ur only form of ad clear and u would be fine like during a boss encounter if u have to burst down a major and don’t wanna use izi ammo u could just put on a shotgun and use sunbracers for ad clear there’s no cost to it unless u whiff the melee
I can just imagine the Witness' reaction when we transcend, "wtf? You're not supposed to do that!"
Nah…The Witness IS the reason we can do it. 👀
Imagine a fireteam of 6 warlocks 1 well 5 arcs all with stasis turrets+no time to explain. #WEARELEGION
"You, Namekian! Too strong, explain how!"
It's the only reason why we're able to.
To an extent I think this is something it wanted all along.
It seems to be big on experimenting and research and maybe it gave us Stasis as a gift just to see what happens when a Light bearer has access to Darkness abilities.
The witness wants this for us.
Had me worried for a minute when you said we aren't getting everything from all subclasses on prismatic. But, frenzied blade and consecration are there so I'm happy
I feel like the only thing i feel will be super stront in prismatic is going to be conditional hunter, but thats just because of how it synergizes with aspects and you can even go invis on conditional kills. (Pvp is absolutely screwed when that comes out)
All I'm saying is that if Hunters can get Gyrfalcons AND Orpheus Rigs on the Exotic Class item, that'll be Void Hunter perfected.
Super: Deadfall Tether
Class Ability: Gamblers Dodge
Jump: Triple
Melee: Combination Blow
Grenade: Either Duskfield or Grapple (doesn't really matter though Duskfield allows more Slow stacks for Stylish Executioner)
Aspects: Winters Shroud + Stylish Executioner
Fragments: Facet of Dawn, Protection, Bravery, etc.
Exotic Class Item: Gyrfalcons + Orpheus Rig
This builds gameplay loop is very similar to an Assassins Cowl Arc Hunter. You throw a duskfield nade and kill the hit enemy with a powered melee to start building the Combination Blow loop. This will slow nearby enemies every time you dodge allowing your Stylish Executioner to proc. We've essentially replaced Void Hunters weakest part of the kit (the melee) with an entire Assassins Cowl Arc hunter build. And combined Void Hunters 2 strongest Exotics. Aswell as given them Slow effects every time they dodge. (which is all the time). We get Radiant + Unraveling Rounds (Swordbreaker 1-2 punch).
EDIT: To all those who have only half their brains working, Prismatic Hunter has Deadfall Tether and Stylish Executioner.
Facts
Depends on what part of the exotic they decide to use
Sadly the class item perks seem to only be partial exotic traits. So even if you could get both, I don't think you'd be able to get the major benefits from both.
At most it would be the faster reloading and the finisher weapon damage boost, at least as far as I've seen from the exotic class items so far.
They only work while using the Prismaric class.
@@NoHandsJames Nobody uses Gyrfalcons for the weapon damage boost though. Its soul identity is applying Volatile rounds while invisible. Everything else is the extra random stuff.
As a behemoth titan I am very jealous of that warlock void stasis nade.
Can’t lie when I saw the titan transcendence grenade I was disappointed
@@twentyoneten4207 half of the grenade won't work against bosses ahaha. Also, the grenade doesn't explode on hit, similar to Incendiary grenade, it bounces around before exploding.
Warlock main here, we are also the only Prismatic class to have a Solar healing nade. Not that it matters too much with weapons that can heal. I actually think for once Warlock got the best out of the bunch apart from not having Prismatic Well.
@@twentyoneten4207I felt that the warlock one was more underwhelming to me. It feels small compared to the giant boom of pris titan. I think hunter one is best no question in terms of look and power but I wish that they release new grenades throughout the seasons. After all, they have a dedicated section to it. It would make sense to have like one for each darkness subclass.
Ie hunter gets a grenade that grapples (maybe creates point) and has like a void grenade burst of seeking void grenades that detonates every time you grapple to it or melee something.
Me to brother, me to.
My only issue with this is I hope there’s different looks for the class items because as a hunter main I personally don’t like the look of the cloak at all
I love the way he laid it all out bravo encore!!
Us warlocks are going to have a great time using well while everyone else gets to use the fun new thing
Warlocks in a nutshell. I moved to being a hunter main now. I refuse to be tied to only one thing.
Well isn't on prismatic lmao
Hehe sucks when your class is carried by one super
The new solar super actually sounds fantastic for prismatic builds, since killing all those scorched enemies should help feed their aspects
@@lemapple8180 yeah thats the thing because we cant join any activity unless we're on well
The missing Titan aspects are huge things to lose out on: Banner of War, Into the Fray, Roaring Flames, Sol Invictus, Touch of Thunder, Howl of the Storm, Bastion, and Offensive Bulwark. RIP almost all survivability and dps melee builds. Also, not being able to use Burning Maul or Sentinel Shield is a let-down for sure.
Hunters are left mostly intact, missing a couple of important aspects but they have a lot of good options to choose from. I think prismatic hunters will suffer the least compared to what we have now.
Warlocks are in the middle, missing a few key abilities like Well of Radiance, Ice Flare Bolts, Touch of Flame, Mindspun Invocation, Wanderer, Arc Soul, Child of the Old Gods, Chaos Accelerant, and Chaos Reach.
Prismatic will be very good in the neutral game, but there are some builds which will never be obsolete, (*especially* for titans).
Sentinel shield is rubbish, happy that isn't available on Prismatic.
Hunters aren't in a good spot either. It's basically arc hunter without the need for Cowl but less damage because of no lethal current aspect. That's pretty much the only end game scaling build. The new super and aspect are much more pvp than pve, yay we can helicopter spin, thanks bungie the rest of our kit outside of dps supers is still so far behind other classes.
Warlocks definitely won with the new solar aspect and super, devour access, and a rework to how bleakwatcher interacts with other statuses like devour.
Titans still have some juice with 3x consecration and knockout is a lifesaver but yeah no banner sucks. The new shield could be super good but IMO Warlocks won, titan second, hunters last (unless it's a patrol zone).
Hunters are only mostly intact because outside of like 2 or 3 exotics, the only good ones are for our supers and everything is gunplay. Even some of the good exotics, still gun centric to the max rather than space magic. Even then with some testing I'm sure I'd rather use arc or void than prismatic, and void has 0 offense
@@Kurama1732 I guess you haven't used Void hunter then because it's one of the best for enemy dense end game content. Warlocks definitely retained some good aspects, but hunters maintained the best available abilities by far, (save for blade barrage). Titans got the best abilities, supers, and aspects neutered from them, except for glacier and pulse grenades, thunderclap, and consecration, (I don't use this aspect much because Synthoceps+infinite hammer makes most content trivial). There's no source of healing at all except for knockout, (which isn't the greatest but something), no grapple melee, and very few viable options to choose from at the end of the day.
@@classicjoker2008 With Doom Fang Pauldrons, it's legitimately fun to be in a super for 5 minutes straight. And I can get it back in 1-2 minutes.
Truly excited for this!
Looking at the screenshots of the prismatic UI, there’s two icons under transcendence. To me it looks like we may also be able to changeout the special transcendence grenade and some kind of native effect but I just be speculating 😎
Someone finally said what I was thinking. There is so much left off the table that I can't see Prismatic being the end all be all.
That being said. I'll be in heaven if I find a war rig + precious scars class item.
I'd rather the core classes be relegated to specialist roles than have prismatic cone out and do nothing.
I personally think they should remove all independent subclasses and merge them into prismatic. Full freedom
@@ImABotTrust That's more of a D3 thing. Possibly even due to legal shenanigans.
Curious, why does everyone like precious scars? The restoration seems minimal.
@@synth_pulse3098 For me. It's Lorelai at home but without the need to burn my barricade and in team play, not need banner of war. And the biggest kicker. It isn't class locked. So if I'm slaying out in PVE with stasis for instance, I'm already rocking a stasis weapon with headstone. If I don't need Hoarfrost Z, it's still a good backup exotic.
And while using Tommy's Matchbook. If I'm killing with scorches and ignitions, the overheat will never bring me down past half shield.
I think the best way to deal with it is to eliminate some of those stat penalties on stronger fragments - but only on the core subclasses, not for primsatic.
And if that isn't enough, invert them. Prismatic is cool and all but imagine 6 100 arc hunter.
it is my understanding all of our abilities an supers an classes will be on one screen an from the drop down options we will be able to select what we want to pair together. Im not certain they will keep the other subclasses completely separate with there own screen because ... no one will rock anything else for so many reasons.
So much more info we need to know. What exotic traits will be available? What are the other 9 fragments that weren't shown.
Nah. They are leaving lots of the best supers and aspects and powers on other classes.
exactly
not for hunters
@@controlleronpceasywin2978yes lol. No blade barrage, no vanishing step aspect, no whirling maelstrom aspect, none of the good grenades outside of grapple etc
@@hatchell18 golden gun> blade barrage, vanishing step=afk play stile the invis option you can get is fantastic since you have INFINITE MELEE OPTION WITH STRAND, other combo aspect > whirling maestrom, for the nades yeah but you have infinite ignition nade options
@@controlleronpceasywin2978 ugh no lol. Blade barrage is way better than golden gun. The ONLY reason golden gun is better rn is because of this seasons solar mods making it busted. It’ll go back to barely ever being used after this season lol
The question is entirely dependent whether or not more abilities, supers and aspects will be added. For instance, solar grenades aren’t there, and so the raw ad clear of sunbracers is gone. Well of Raidence, despite a possible nerf, will still be needed for raids. Some builds will rendered moot, but certain ones will remain top tier
The best example is strand titans. Pulse grenades, consecration and overshields likely won’t be enough to justify giving up the sheer survivability of Banner of War
Exotic Class Items are not going to replace all exotics, since their perks are watered down versions of two exotics. Some exotics will be negated, while others will be better for prismatic than their default class. Two of the best examples are Celestial nighthawk and Osimancy gloves
Nighthawk will good to make up for the lack of knock em down and star eater blade barrage, since it was never affected by knock em down to begin with
Osimancy will let you have two coldsnap grenades to turn into bleak watchers while also having feed the void
Exactly. I want to keep Banner of War so my time with Prismatic will be limited to patrol and low level activities, if ever. I know they obviously can't bring everything in but this feels like a melting pot of undesirable traits and aspects.
They'll probably nerf stuff like BoW again to try to push everyone into using Prismatic, though. That seems like the Bungie thing to do here.
Knock ‘em down gives Blades Barage 6-8 more blades
@@thunderchief7256 and a 30ish percent to golden guns, but nighthawk does more than 30 percent
@@conmanay4563 I think only deadshot gets the dmg increase, marksman just last longer
hunters and titans are the one that wil really shine with ther new subclass
I'm super excited for prismatic. I'll be able to add devour with vortex grenades and arcane needle to my lightning surge build with claws of ahamkara. I'm a bit bummed about losing chaos reach but stormtrance i have recently found out is crazy powerful now so I'm fine with using that instead.
Something that I'd like to suggest for your theory crafting is Lightning Surge and the bond with synthos and skullfort
They did say transcendence would be filled with mostly the unused/unpopular parts of each subclass in that blog post but amp them up a bit.
Perfect way to make a whole subclass unused and unpopular after a few weeks of the hype wearing off. Call me crazy but it feels rushed and half assed because they needed a new subclass for the expansion to not flop.
@@silverag3169I dunno about you but I can make some fun combos for the warlock with all the elemental buddies I can have out at one time.
@@silverag3169 I think it’s a perfect way to buff these unused parts of our subclasses and merge them into something awesome. I’m cautiously excited about this new subclass. But yeah this definitely had to be just freshly made due to feedback they received
@FrostieTS Honestly your positive attitude is awesome and I truely hope you have a blast with everything. Im just a pessimist when it comes to d2 I suppose.
@@silverag3169 I get it. I’ve been playing since alpha d1. Seen the highs and lows of bungie through destiny 1 and 2. I’m just enjoying the ride to wherever this story ends at and take it from there.
I feel like Prismatic will in no way make single element builds obsolete but it will definitely allow us to reach greater potential taking advantage of all burn element modifiers.
The short "Oh!" cracks me up every time 😂
What an enlightening video.... Hmmm, I wonder how CHROMATIC FIRE and other Elemental Aline to Class Sub Exotics will interact with Prismatic? Will it be random element, mix or a unique type of Damage for it like the Poison Exotics? Looking forward to it either way! Great Video!
Some of the fragments are based off whatever super you have equipped, so I think for "subclass interactions" while using prismatic will be determined by the super.
I doubt it. The Prismatic subclass is more of a “Jack of All Trades, Master of None”. It can do everything, but only our current subclasses can do something well.
To illustrate, the Prismatic Warlock has Bleak Watcher, which could be paired with Feed the Void to give Devour on ability blows (which can also be procced by a shatter final blow on a target frozen by a Stasis ability), but only Shadebinder can pair Bleak Watcher with Iceflare Bolts, which drastically improves your ability to freeze targets. You can argue that the sustain abilities of Devour are more valuable, but keep in mind that we will be getting a new Stasis Keyword in Final Shape: Frost Armor. And you can bet that the Stasis subclasses will be able to get access to Frost Armor much easier than Prismatic when it comes to us.
not for hunters
Hard light meta??
not again…
When is it not
4:00 that 'AH!' got me good
I am both excited and overwhelmed with all the combinations lmao
It just need prismatic power on meele and class ability aswell not only grenade, sure increased combinations perk and refresh ablity maybe good but it is shallow for activating prismatic (transcends) for better grenade....
I love the idea of prismatic. And exotic class items will be cool. I just hope they can be Transmoged and shaded.
What we have seen I give it a 8/10 I hope the campaign is even better
They'll most likely have shaders but transmog wouldn't be there. It's an exotic, generally in PVP people need to see the exotic you're rocking. It will probably have ornaments instead.
@@johndoe1274 the problem is it'll already be randomized. It doesn't matter if you see an exotic class item if that item can be whatever exotic that's in the game.
@@draccondracul2082 They’ve never used transmog for exotics, the logic is not logicing.
As a warlock main I am running song of flame with vortex grenade, arcane needle and feed the void/bleak watcher this bout to go crazy
Well, they said that ONLY when equipping the prismatic subclass you will be able to use the class item exotic...So for instance the strand titan punch everything with the force of a super build(ONLY USING: a shotgun, an aspect and an exotic armor piece) will still be better than the different light and darkness abilities all together in one...
I cannot wait to be a solar and ice titan! smashing ice with fire hammers!
It will, because bungie wants it to be overpowered at launch, and at first everybody will love it. After a few weeks (days?) people will start to complain, then streamers will complain and make videos about it, then bungie nerfs everything into the ground. Circle of life.
How you feel now?
My main guess for the balancing act is that the new Aspects and Supers we're getting with Final Shape and Beyond will also be added to their associated elemental Subclass since that is how they were initially presented to us and shown in gameplay previews half a year ago.
Need that precious scars/actium war rig for Tommy's matchbook
The exotic perk combos will be insane. Imagine hoil with skullfort's perk or wormgods with skullfort or armamentaruim with ashen wake or second chances with doomfang. The possibilities are endless
Titans do not get fusion grenades on prismatic, and the exotic class piece is only for prismatic, so ashen wake will not work. Sentinel shield is also not on prismatic titan, so doomfang will only give the void weapon damage buff and super energy on melee kills, which is still good.
Possibilities are not endless lmao. The rolls are fixed you cant combine everything
@@DrakeLons so the possibilities are still endless, bit just a little less endless
I don't think they have shown 2 exotics from the same class , not saying there won't be but as far as I'd seen they are different classes exotics mixed
@@epitome278 not with perks, but you do see a titan proc drengr's lash, kepri's horn and hoarfrost-z passives all at once. it was at the end of the trailer
I think one big item to look forward to is the 3rd Darkness Subclass. I think people overlooked that even tho Prismatic is a new subclass, it's not the 6th Elemental one. Meaning when we do get the Red Subclass, not only will it have a stand alone build, but will also have to be built into the existing Prismatic subclass as well.
Yeah, a new subclass now had exponentially more to offer the game than strand or stasis did, when they showed up. And if we get new aspects for existing subclasses maybe they'll eventually expand the pool of options for prismatic to more than 1, making it again, even more exciting🙃
@@aljazslemc9569yeah. Then they could add three grenades for each subclass to match as the seasons progress. I hope that as these seasons move on that at least one extra grenade to fill out the other darkness class.
My ideas are void and strand hunter grenade with grapple point being created while you grapple. When casting grapple or hitting melee it will create those void seekers (from point or you depending on how they are obtained). I just realized that the one fragment may be nutty with it but whatever it’s transcendence
Solar and strand for warlock.
Could be a healing grenade threadling combo in which you throw a zone down that pulses out threadlings and cures and heals when you are hit with it. You could switch healing grenade for another part but that makes most sense to me.
Titan would be stasis arc (upon writing this I realize that this won’t have the variation I want so that sucks but o well)
It will create a crystal wall that puts out a blinding pulse every now and then. Shattering those will unleash a huge blinding explosion.
I think those are the best options
I feel like we'll either get the 3rd darkness subclass in the last episode of Final Shape, or as the main selling point of post Final Shape content.
Alternatively, they are keeping it under wraps for now, to maximize last minute hype generation.
@@ValbrandrLeonhardt no any other subclass would have to take at least an expansion no questions asked
This is the 3rd subclass. It's literally red like we've been predicting. We aren't getting anything else
The lmg the Titan is using apparently had a perk that applies "ability rampage", it stacks up to 3x at 4:00. Bungie said the area above the super bar is for weapon perk/ability text so it has to be a perk. Could it be as simple as rampage but for abilities? Get weapon kills to increase ability damage that stacks 3x like normal rampage? We don't currently have a weapon perk like that. Warlocks have Verity's Brow with Death Throws which does that, but for weapons we only have perks that buff weapon damage with ability kills or increase recharge rates, not the damage of the abilities themselves.
Just thinking about a build right now got my head spinning omg this is gonna be so fun yo
You better make sure your build is gonna be possible
@@kalebanderson7483 how would I know if it’s possible if it’s not out yet dummy
I have two big fears about prismatic, from the perspective of an endgame titan main:
1. Not all abilities are created equal within a single class. On Titan knockout is clearly the best aspect, so much so that I can't see myself making a build without it. Frenzied Blade is clearly the best melee option, and there is no reason to run any others (unless they give us melting point back on hammer strike). Knockout, Consecration, Frenzied Blade, Shackle Grenade, and Thundercrash is the main build I'm looking at. Then in transcendence, your new grenade is just a better shackle grenade, so it'll flow nicely.
2. For damage phases, I'm worried that the best option for exotic class item will be star eaters + ophidians. These two exotic effects will absolutely juice every loadout you could have, no matter what weapon or super you're using to take down a boss (to be clear, you're using Thundercrash unless they've really updated twilight arsenal since the video showcase).
Thundercrash isn't useful in all damage phases for example warpriest. If you step out of the aura you get 0 damage.
@@VenomPureEvilu can always be a real titan and bring the aura to the warpriest
@@kurtispowers5776 indeed 👊
Hear me out.
Star Eater Scales on the exotic, with Celestial Nighthawk.
1 shot GG will be viable again.
I’m looking for a combination of star eaters and apothethosis veil with the new warlock solar super. I’d like to see what kind of damage you can bring.
I think that Prismatic is to be a sign of what to look for in Destiny 3…
That Prismatic is to be the SOLE “Subclass”, with ALL the current and future elements being collapsed into it, and that builds from then on become all about either specializing in 1 Element (Like have it so the more focused you are in 1 element, the more “attuned” to it you are, and receive appropriate buffs for it) OR you mix and match, and gain buffs that are only possible from experimenting with cross-elemental interactions.
There needs to be a reason where either going full combo OR remaining an elemental purist can stand toe to toe with each other.
We dont need destiny 3 we killed so many bosses through the years, story needs to end.
For the class item, i believe i saw khepris horn and bombadiers as choices as well
The jack of all trades master of none idea I think works really well here. It’s not going to over take certain builds but it will be very good and a welcome edition to the game. It honestly reminds me of dnd bards. Flexibility in what you can do but not so much that you eclipse everything else.
I feel the hype at start , after calming down i learned that exotic class item doesnt work with mono subclass and prismantic has massive limitations so basically killed it . Underrated abilities/fragment its not used for a reason its just weak .
You have to understand: playing the game the way YOU want is always a W. I highly doubt this change is going to make current builds “worse” just not as EFFECTIVE. But again, at the end of the day, when you have more options to mash up and play how you want. There’s literally no negative about it.
Um wrong. If I could play the way I want…. Hmmmm….. blink, ICARUS DASH, phoenix dive, stasis turrets, void pocket singularity melee. Obvi the fragment that allows radiant on powered melee tag. Problem is I can’t choose my super or Icarus dash….. its gunna be mid af, jack of all master of none
@@blebreton06if you could do that it would make everything else irrelevant. These build will not be mid. It may not be better than banner of war or some stupid shit like that, but it will have many potent build options
@@blebreton06... but often is better than a master of one" we'll see how it actually works and the build crafting potential. For now we can only theory craft
@@nolanh1102 It is too bad though that I'm limited to weavers call for a strand build. That just feels like ass no? They limited 2/3 of the aspects for the sake of balance. I don't feel like I'm gonna get the buildcrafting that I personally want, but instead just a mashup of aspects that I'm no particularly interested in.
Ever heard of the word Power Creep?
dang i was so excited for shatter dive and grapple
I really hope contraverse hold works with the prismatic warlock grenade!
Light subclasses are headed to the DCV.
After seeing they only added limited options makes it more balanced as the other subclasses still have uses.
I’m just happy I get to use thruster with anything I want and exotic class item that won’t throw off my fit
It’s gunna be a titan meta, imagine the shield nade plus thruster into a thunderclap 😂 pvp is about to mald because titan op again
@@blebreton06 I want to use the new super since it’s a ranged one and done, but I HATE void. Plus think, you can get three consecrations, drengers lash with thrusters??? Knockout and hammer? Suspend followed by thundercrash? Maybe bladefury knockout?
Frenzied Blade with Consecration/Diamond Lance paired with Heart of Inmost Light is going to be so fun hoooooly.
The hunter void chest piece with syntho while using the strand build combined with solar and running arc titan dodge! Titan builds gonna go hard
Lost sectors finally gonna be relevant again lol
*I think it FOR SURE will unless the 2 perks combined on the exotic are like dumb down versions.*
*also bruh a Liershandshake and Calibans hand combo would actually be wild especially if you could find a way to go invs with it*
well i suspect they would be somewhat dumb down since if not they would be way to broken
They are. There parts of an exotic, not the full effect. Like ophidians is just the handling speed, which is kinda meh.
They are nerfed versions indeed.
Ophidian perk grants you only handling, and might not add 35 like normal exotics for all we know
The exotic perks are lesser versions but not like a percentage nerf but more like a mechanic nerf. Basically instead of having 100% of the perk you'll have half of its effects.
For example in the stream the synthoceps perk was shown with only giving the melee damage and not the improved weapon stats.
They are a little dumbed down. But still, once you get a few good rolls, things are gonna become obsolete fast
The graphics are amazing here!! Such an awesome addition and really boosts this videos overall quality. Great job, Aztecross, team, and external support!
It'd be interesting to see if they'd take certain abilities from exotics intended to work with specific supers and make them broader on the class items. Like Celestial Nighthawk's one-hit super conversion being given to a warlock, making their arc laser have a momentary duration in a tradeoff for exceptional damage.
You know what's funny? Today i was thinking about combing subclasses together, like having the invisibility of void and the movement of strand, and here we are.
I could see them giving a buff to using your abilities with their respective subclass. Or maybe like -10% damage to abilities while using prismatic.
Crown of tempest and getaway artist would be my go to honesty
17:40 It's good to know the full quote/saying.
"Jack of all trades; master of none."
Warlock is the ultimate summoner now, stasis turrets, then you have Flame buddy’s, and strand buddy’s in 1 ability is nutty.
What ability are you refering too that would allow you to use all 3 at once?
Consume grenade for either turret or threadlings.
Rift is either threadlings or solar soul.
Can't have all 3 at once.
Honestly rather disappointed with some of the warlock choices, as a warlock main
@Zepulchure Thats what I was thinking as well but I wanted to see if theres something I missed. Like honestly we got no movement abilities at all in ours but they got so much. They want warlocks to just stand around lmao
@@silverag3169 the aspects disappoint me, (excluding the solar soul) they are the most boring or hyper niche choices they could have chosen
This is a lure. They are breaking the game and giving us what we've always wanted because they are dying.
Or, the leaks are true, and D3 is in development. Tinfoil hat: Prismatic is a live test for what they can do with the D3 class systems
Desperate Bungie is the best Bungie
Not even close to dying
we need an aspect that grants volatile rounds on orb pickup like the seasonal mod back in WQ
Looks awesome and a great explaining guide. Still unsure if any of the new prismatic class will be available for FTP players or if it's only available for paid players
Prismatic is DOA.
So why the hell would it kill our builds that are stronger?
Well isnt part of Prismatic yikes
Wellock
good i hate running well and im never running it again
It sounds like well is getting hella nerfed anyway so warlocks are no longer obligated to run well. Although it's going to make endgame activities way more challenging.
@@DonJoe1 good, i want them to be hard
Good luck getting this Banner off my back ✊🏴
Damn... was really hoping for arcsoul with HOIL effects with devour ... would been CRACKED i can see them rolling out more tho later on
Well it seems hunter is getting catered again rip other characters
Shatter skate with a grapple would be so cool
Pyrogale and synthoceps will be awesome if they come out with that
If transcendence grenades are really good and worth building towards that perk that makes your gun the same element as your grenade when you throw it could be finally useful.
For my warlock, all the prismatic powers are exactly how I like to play already when I’m not the Well. I can’t see myself using anything else. The other classes are missing combos I love to use. I’ll probably switch it up more often with them.
On Hunter I use strand to grapple around area and I get high place now I can combine that and Stasis and Solar to make a devastation blows.
I see prismatic covers a few or even a lot of the bases our current classes do. Yes it can freeze or ignite, but will it be to the same extent as a solar or stasis class build no. I feel it'll be a master of none situation. Excited to try it all out though .
Almost no one I’ve seen has noticed the Titan in the trailer (or the end of the reveal stream I don’t remember) had an air dodge
Suspend and throwing shield or thunder clap oooofff that sexy to watch
Infographic is sick
15:13 hunter using both liars handshake and assassin's cowl that's crazy
Assassins cowl and any titan melee gear is gonna go crazy
One thing I noticed which is for sure going to be abused you can refill transcendence while it is active meaning that you can have infinite ability uptime buff and guess what transcendence is increased by using abilities so it encourages ability use but this can be broken.
I didnt expect so much stuff not being on prismatic thats kind of a bummer
Stylish exicutioner mixed with combination blow spunds crazy. A melee from invis causes weaken. Killing the weakened enemy returns you to invis. The damage stacks up with each kill. It's like assassins cowl, but without the need for the exotic anymore.
I do hope they consider adding individual “transcendent” grenades to the other elements but purely focused on said elements. I don’t really wanna change from a shatter-skate revenant all too much. It’s just how I prefer playing
On the contrary, we still have slots available for other fragments in each subclass. There is still room to build onto each with another 2 slot fragment.
i could see this being the new system moving forward.
1:18 Look at the hipfire for Cerberus +1
Looking at what's in this video, I think my One Punch Hunter build is gonna be straight nasty with Prismatic. If I can get the roll on the Hunter class item with Caliban's Hand and Sythoceps or Liars Handshake, then its a wrap for the Witness.
The class item with Spirit of Caliban and Spirit of Synthoceps
Marksman Golden gun,
Duskfield or Grapple Grenade,
Combination Blow,
Stylish Executioner and Winters Shroud (pair those with Focusing Strike mod on my gauntlets and Outreach mod on the class item)
Facet of Purpose, Protection, Bravery and Dawn. If I can get all six, then add in Balance and Hope. But I'm gonna guess the two chosen Aspects are gonna be ones that are limited to two fragment slots.
In case the cooldown for going invisible is no bueno, then perhaps maybe a little bit of a rework here but as of now, it all looks like its golden to me.
solar sunbreaker combo + benevolence we chillin
You can allready have a kinda cracked void/strand build if you have the new recluse with destabilizing rounds/repulsor brace, constant volatile and unraveling while having void overshield and woven mail at the same time.
Warlocks fellwinters helm can work on any subclass so im sure that will be a prismatic exotic class item perk as well. Wonder what will combo with it.
Felwinter's + Them poison gauntlets on titan to just spread malice with the hammer
Kinda wished howl of the storm was on prismatic, so you could mix it with consecration. A stasis uppercut with a solar downslam would've been nuts
