Yep, i love my ex husband with all his flaws but he doesn't want to mend our relationship. He wants to be friends which emotionally i can't do. Im trying to let go. So yeah, love in the heart, closing the door.
Sounds like him saying he “wants to be friends” is a nice way of him saying to you “your flaws” regardless of if he loves you or not were too much for him. Sometimes one grows because of the other’s actions….usually because of one thinking the grass was greener somewhere else which brakes the other and makes the broken one put themselves back together by themselves since the one person they loved with all their heart and they thought they had that same love back but realized the truth after they broke them and then left them high and dry when they needed them the most. Signed the Ex-Wife of a Taurus who is thankful for that lesson because I am too strong now to ever put up with his “flaws” again that he refuses to even see let alone take accountability for and work on.

I'm scared shitless because my spine is a mess and I'm getting a serious operation to fuse C3 toT1 on May 15th. My life has been on hold due to medical issues since the end of last summer. I'm trying to mentally get past this operation and others that may need done when this one heals. I was 75 in April so healing is a big deal.

A man a father of three cannot give me his time simply cause he is busy / kids are big, they youngest is 16/ I’m not needy but cannot build relationship on weekly seeing basis.
