No champion in any division was ducking any opponent other than possibly Francis during 2020-2022. Figgy, Yan, Volk, Oliviera, Usman, Glover all fought whoever they were told. The difference between all of those champions and Izzy is that they brought the fight to their opponent, whereas Izzy believed it was up to the challenger to bring the fight, thus he point scored decision after decision. Hardly admirable bro.

This is the real world and also a business. There's no such thing as a hero or a villain. Some fighters just try to give that perception to gain fans (or haters) to sell more PPVs. The reality is that humans love a good story and if both fighters are nice to each other, that doesn't really make a great story. If anything, you should be a fan of Izzy for making stories out of his fights and making you want to tune in. Alex is a phenomenal fighter, but I wouldn't follow him as a fan because he's not exciting.

Just because you're a fan of Jorge, doesn't mean you should downplay a potential opponent. Holland can hang with the best strikers no problem, he's very dangerous and only guys who beat are bigger guys who had to wrestle him. He let that wonderboy fight get away because he didn't want to use all his skills, and just strike. Holland is a very good fighter.
