Totally awesome man it’s great when you have a Fish that lives such a long time our oldest fish is the alpha of our clown Loaches family got him about the time Jack was born so he’ll be going on 16 soon. We’re pretty sure most of our rope fish are probably just as old, but will never really know, those guys probably live forever! Happy new year, Dan!
Happy New Years to you guys too! I wish I could keep the clown loaches alive for more than a few years. They always end up with "skinny loach" syndrome and I've never been able to reverse it.
Congrats on your 9 years Dan. I remember it well as you were new around the same time as I first started. You have stuck with it and do regular uploads, whereas I'm more in to watching other people's videos than doing my own. You have come a long way so very well done to you.

I’ve had my 3 raphaels nearly 7 years now after falling in love with them on CZcams. Seeing the care you give yours has really helped me keep mine happy, I adjust their cave every 6 months or so since all three of them cram together in there. It’s like a clown car, and it always surprises me how big they’ve gotten.

thanks! I've got Crypt that grows like mad. Java moss will take over a tank. Planted water sprite (I float mine) will grow fast too.
How long do these fish live?
I don't know for sure but I've talked to people with Raphaels in their 30s. mine is currently about 10 to 11 years old.
