- I got a nice clean cut of all the sounds, this is probably the highest quality rip on CZcams right now. I didn't rip every possible pattern that the sounds can play in but I got all the individual sounds.
So yeah, feel free to do what ever you want to do with the voice clips and dance music, but please give me proper credit, since I did take the time to extract this audio from my robosapien.

Yea, that's because music is actually a midi, meaning it's just playing samples of the instruments at the correct pitches to make the music, which takes up less storage space on the chip than a full recorded audio, meaning they can make it higher quality.

@@plisehon It is midi. It's not the exactly same as midi on a computer but it's very similar. Mark Tilden, Robosapien's creator confirmed it. You can also test it to see. If you glitch it (with really low batteries) you can freak out the midi player.
Robosapien was made long before you could put MP3 compression on a board like that. All the audio samples are 4 bit PWM.
Now something I should mention is, later robosapiens (2009 and up) had the midi removed and replaced it with a recorded audio. You can tell because the dance audio is noticably lower quality on those models.

@@cajundude62a The X has terrible electronics though, the motor controller likes to die. The best ones are the original 2004 ones. You can make a really good robosapien if you use the mechanics from an X and and board from an original one.

It's an unused sound that can only be heard if you put it into the factory test mode, which most people don't know how to do.

From the ones I’ve heard v1 audio rips sound better than v2 rips
yeah v2s have very compressed audio, so even when you rip the audio, it doesn't sound very clear.

only older robosapiens make that sound, and they do it when the arms don't reset fast enough after the wakeup sequence
