  • Hi and welcome to this drive from the township of Reefton to Greymouth along State Highway 7 on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.
    Reefton was the first town in the Southern Hemisphere to receive electric street lighting in 1888.
    Today Reefton is a busy town with a rich goldmining history along with plenty of walking and mountain biking trails the Victoria Conservation Park with surrounds Reefton along with a Gin Distillery an absolutely well presented and laid out town a must visit when your on the West Coast.

    Nice video! I was bought up on the coast, left 40 odd years ago. The place looks the same!
