I've had this as my main snare for 3 years now, and its sound has never let me down!
I think its value -> money ratio is almost unbeatable
NOTE:
please consider upgrading tension rod washers and hoops as soon as you can (S-Hoops and DW die cast hoops are great choices) because it DOES NOT hold tuning.
I've walked out of some intense shows without one or more tension rods, BOTTOM SIDE (not to mention the obvious 4 top tension rods completely backing out as well).
For me it's almost unplayable without lug locks / other stuff
(RIMSHOTS, yaaay)
If you can get past its only flaw, you'll be blessed with that great Sonor sound, great projection, articulation and a MASSIVE tuning range.
The thing can handle damn near everything you throw at it
