the show is exactly like this. you get emotionally attached to all the characters and then they kill em. NO ONE IS SAFE. THEY KILL OFF MAIN CHARACTERS THAT YOU'VE GROWN WITH. and then the worst part is when the others start crying, be having me on the couch bawling because their cries are so realistic i really be feeling their pain, man. the show fucked up. all them actors deserve awards bc acting skills on point. mfs can't lie and tell me they ain't cry they eyes out when that scene with Hershel and the governor popped off. Clem had to boss up at 8 years old, survived to be 17, had to kill her parent figure, kill others in season 2, raise a baby, save javi and nem, while killing that evil ass civilization, find a suitable shelter, kill mullet dude at the school cause he was a bad leader, dodge bandits, fortify the school, while raising AJ, save the group from the bandits, kill Lilly, kill Minerva, and survived being bitten, and that's only part of the story. I left HELLA shit out.
Everytime I've played this game Carly dies I don't think there is a way around it I replayed that episode 4 times trying to keep her alive. So I assume she dies anyways only thing you can change is the way people talk to you based off decisions made. Can't really change events so don't worry too much about the things that happen. But when you helped Lilly at the dairy she helped you when Andy attacked by shooting him if you had helped Kenny kill Larry she wouldn't have shot Andy and helped you that's the only part of the game that I can remember that changes events based on decision.
Season 1 choices: Effects how people react toward you. Season 2 choices: Effects how ppl react toward you and each other and how the game ends Season 3: Same as 2 Season 4: Choices matter and the determinate characters WILL survive or die based on your choices The game evolved so much
Watching Berlin play, make decisions, and interact with the characters and Clementine, it feels like we’re actually watching him invest himself and be a dad raising his daughter. When it comes to giving her priority, looking out for her best interests, and even being affectionate and proud, Berlin does it. He’s practically a father now.
Tbh this is most ppl who play the game but Berlin is so transparent with it in commentary it makes him fun to watch. Relatable too if you’ve played the game already
