see we're all pros here 😂 my protip to you all I'm sure you all know but maybe you don't I keep a.006 feeler gauge hanging by the bench it's the same as two pieces of paper doubled over and it doesn't rip when wet sometimes or snow and stuff when you're working or a little too tight the paper hopefully that will help somebody that doesn't know

To avoid confusion I refer to the mark on the ski as the Mid- Sole mark or Recommend Mounting Point. When you use the term’ Center Point some people interpret that as being the Center of the ski length that many Park Skiers like to mount their Twin Tip skis for riding “ Switch”(backwards). Traditional Mid- Sole marks are behind the True Center on directional skis. I have noticed some confusion on this terminology. Some ski manufacturers have a Recommended Mid Sole mark plus several marks in one centimeter increments for skiers who like to be more forward on the ski.

Very good explanation. I'm trying to track down which Solomon Atomic jig will work with the Shift bindings. Do you have part# or name that I could use to find one to purchase. I live in remote Wyoming and need to mount 7 plus skis with shifts.

Find a jig? If not.... Part # L39894700 shift jig.

I am considering purchasing some used skis that come with the Shift 13 bindings, they are currently sized for 28/28.5 boots, but I need 29/29.5. Is this possible without having the bindings redrilled?

Just bought these bindings and I find it hard to lock the walk mode. Feels like I’m gonna brake it. Is this normal? Salomon Shift boots, Atomic shift 13. The toe part of the boot rubs on the binding just a bit also.

Just got some too. Same issue. I think the oil needs working in. So go through the full range up and down several times with no boot there and it’ll free up . First time will be very hard to move it. . After that try it with the boot, again first time time will be tough. Keep going to free it up.

@@alanlucker5048 It got better after few times. I used my pole under the leaver and pulled with both hands.
