- In this video I will share with my last ERT Mission done by a SOLO Average Pilot using ARES INFERNO in Patch 3.22.1 - The ERT Mission was against 890 JUMP, CARRACK, M2 and Andromeda, something that you will not be able to see any more in Patch 3.23...unfortunately...

Made me sad when I took the ion out. That’s my favorite ship and unfortunately it is struggling pretty hard. I’m obviously not the best pilot but I definitely feel a massive improvement in ai which is good but bad for average players

Also for the f7a you want to use deadbolts for pve. You can solo erts fairly consistently like that.

I would agree the Inferno was a bit overpowered, but it's been reduced to ash. It makes me think the size 7s on the Perseus will act the same....with no damage output. Now the Inferno can't even kill a Taurus...SAD !!! :(
Happy to see that I’m not the only one who thinks that the Ion and Infer were reduced too much and made them useless…and I was planning to buy the Inferno during ILW…
It is a shame what the ION and Inferno have been reduced to. Neither feels like a Size 7 unless you are using charged shots on the ION. You wil get punished on the ION because of the slow rate of fire with the slow turning rate. I am wishing for somehing better to come out of these changes.

Nah the Ion is perfectly capable of doing what it's DESIGNED to do, which is killing capital ships. It's not supposed to dogfight fighters.
So at the moment the Ion and the Inferno are useless, since there are no capital ships in game…correct?
@@valsimgames Yes that's mostly correct. There is Idris in some missions, but only a very few ones, and you can't solo them anyways, gotta need many people to gang on.
Hope CIG will change that, since Ion and Inferno are great ships, which should be possible to be used in some solo gameplay…
As another note. I notice you are fighting in yaw alot, this is sub optimal. You want to fight in pitch as it gives you better controll over the nose and by proxy your gun(s).
I know that I use a lot yaw, but I need more ship battles to practice, which I want to do…I tried in 3.23 and need a crazy amount of time to kill just one ship and was destroyed…I can pilot a ship but nit everybody has a top pilot skills and that’s why I was happy with the previous patch…
Eclipse is the way.
So you can still have one hit one kill with Eclipse on the main target?

Really? Have you tried it in 3.23? When I pulled my eclipse against any ship with a turret, they instantly shoot down any torp coming at them?
@@brockoala2994 You don`t fire them at max range and give the AI a chance to shoot them down. Also~ Unless the AI is borked from bad server performance you want to fire them at the second pass. And yes I use the tali this patch and the hornet when i do insurance fraud to get the torps. Also been having most "luck" with shooting them at around 3k while backing up and ai coming twords me.
That’s not realistic…I hope that this is not intentional by CIG! If it is the game is broken…again as 3.18…Any I did not yet used my Eclipse, but will test it now…

1:55 isn't this...a good thing? ERT's are the highest level of bounties. Average pilots SHOULDN'T BE ABLE to reach them. That's a good thing. That's healthy for the game.
Yes it’s the highest level and took me time to arrive there, testing ships and I did it. The PvE ship battles should be made possible for all players. If you fill that you too good or it’s too easy you can always look for PvP ship battles…you have the choice…The average pilots now are left without any choice…
@@valsimgames If every Ship battle should be made so a single pilot can clear them it ruins the game for people who want to have a hard fight With there friends.
Its like saying "I wanna play a game on the Hardest Difficulty as a new player and i dont wanna die. if i die its a shit game."
There are VLRT, LRT and maybe even MRT, Those are made to be done as a solo player thats why they pay a lower amount cuz you dont have to share with others.
HRT VHRT are more for pilots with maybe 1 or two friends that are casual players.
But The ERT is way to easy imo. These ERT missions should be extremely hard like a RAID in any other MMO They should not be done solo.
We NEED a reason to Fill a Hammerhead and bring 1 or 2 Eclipses and a few Missile boats and good fighters.
Im a PVE player to but i also want missions that is not braindead. We need a reason to get better at flying the ship we use.
If i can solo the hardest mission as a Casual player then i can never improve my skills to get better!
Its very selfish to say that every mission should be made so a Solo player can do them in an MMO.
@@kiridox2517that’s true but there’s need to be group activities and solo actives. Most new players I run into are struggling with the difficulty of ai ship combat. FPS is way more common and very easy to adapt to. They need to scale it to be both solo and group play achievable. Should be way higher payouts and higher difficulty for group ert’s and scaled back for solo erts with a reduced payout. You can expect many players to play with groups because there isn’t a big outreach to gather new players. Most of them play solo and never heard of the star citizen discord. Game needs to be fair at a certain level.
@@valsimgames As they should be. This is a simulation game. Just like real life, it's about GRINDING to get BETTER. If you don't put in the work, then you shouldn't get to the top of the top. That's the way it works.
I agree with you! The missions should not be easy, but they should not be also only soo difficult that are unplayable for a common or new player.. I’m in an Org and I enjoy team play, but even when people want to play together it’s difficult to find the exact time where all a free and to get a good server…So CIG should offer both gameplays Team and Solo…Why not to have ERT type of mission for a Soli Pilot? Make it more difficult, the amount should be lower than an ERT Team mission but you get your reputation up…Now as it was mention above a Solo pilot is blocked to do VLRT, because the AI pilots are so good that you cannot even finish any VLRT…Since 3.23 I tried to finish ONE Illegal Monitors mission using Medium and Heavy fighters without success, every time needed so king time to destroy one Gladius, that the other ships destroyed me before…is this normal for a game, even a simulation game? I have no problem to play long time to get money, but this is not playable for the ship battles…I hope that I’m wrong, since I love this game and want to continue to play it…
