You might consider lend leasing Switzerland just to keep Germany busy a well as up grading your African territories infrastructure so you can build more factory’s for when you have to fight Britain there

Quill, while Germany "could" have attacked Switzerland, it just was not worth it. The Swiss (from WW1 or before) had every mountain pass (rail lines & roads especially) prepared with mined tunnels and explosives. Their plan was to literally fill each pass with tens of thousands of tons of blasted rock, isolating most of Switzerland from Europe. With technology of the time, it would have taken years to clear any of the filled passes.
Wouldn't they starve?
The "British Invasion" did not happen until 1964 with "The Beatles"...
That territory that the British control in Africa was taken over by the French and recaptured by the British. You should get it once the war itself is over.

I remember the first time I played HoI4, I was fuming because France was able to invade me (Germany) as I was busy with Poland. "WTF, I have forts all along the border!!". Of course, I didn't have any divisions there -_-
Talking about grandparents, my grandfather was sent from Burgundy (Bourgogne) to defend Belgium against the Germans. However, while they were passing through Lille, they realised that the Germans were already there much to their surprise especially considering how close to the sea Lille is. They were never expecting the Germans to be already here so quickly. His group was walking in the middle of a street, two German groups appeared on both sides of the street, surrounding them. As they hid in a nearby cafe, they got completely overran and got caught as POWs.
I am not saying this to gather sympathy for my grandfather, as after the war (and 2 additional others, Algeria and Indochina) he went on to have a very long and happy life.
But I mostly meant this as a commentary on how quick and powerful the push through the Ardennes was. It got the entire Allied army COMPLETELY off-guard leading to the very quick surrender of France 6 weeks after the war, as the majority of allied troops had been surrounded in Belgium and France didn't have any reserve left.

Not only does he do all of this with Italy but he also goes communist, and it's all on elite difficulty. And here I am on normal difficulty and I can usually only barely take down Yugoslavia before the allies crush me.......
It may well be too late now, but are you aware that you are now heading into 1941 and have yet to research 1940 infantry weapons? It's usually one of the things you really try to keep on top of so it just seemed unusual.

The soviets aren't on the german border because they have a non-aggresssion pact with Great Britain, who is a member of the Axis, so for right now, they see that front as safe, however Switzerland is part of the Commonwealth of nations, who, while not in the war yet, could be called in, so they're stacking up most of their troops on that border.
