- Travelling on a budget means making sacrifices. In this case, the sacrifice was the time and comfort of a plane, which instead was replaced with a 50 hour journey across The Philippines. Along the way we will hop on multiple tricycles, board multiple ferries and visit multiple islands. Join us as we show you how to travel from Donsol to Siargao on a budget! It's sure to be an adventure...
In all honesty though, the ferries in The Philippines are very good for the price you pay. If you have the time, I'd definitely recommend taking them instead of flying due to the difference in cost and the money you save on accommodation. They're also pretty fun, great for people watching and you get to see places that you probably otherwise wouldn't see. For example, we got to spend a day in Masbate City and some time in Surigao City, both of which weren't on our planned itinerary. Taking the boats in The Philippines meant we got to experience how locals get around and how they live. If I had to do it all over again, I definitely would.
P.S. Thanks to the Traveler's Lounge in Cebu City. We absolutely stank so that shower was a life saver!

00:00 - What's the Plan?
01:04 - Donsol to Masbate
02:32 - Masbate to Cebu
08:24 - Cebu to Surigao
12:32 - Surigao to Siargao
Actually you took a longer route, there could have been a shorter route, you can ride a bus from Donsol to Matnog, Sorsogon.. then cross a ferry to Northern Samar..then are lot of buses bound to Leyte or even Surigao City in Mindanao
Where were you when we were planning our route?? 😂
@@GoWithDannyMo If we could have known earlier, you would have even hitchhiked on our road trip from Manila to Mindanao
@@fritzaldenvillas1329 damn, next time I'll hit you up
That probably would take only 18 Hours including the time waiting for the ferry’s scheduled departure . You would have saved alot in time and money.
Personally Did the surigao-manila bus route, and yes there where shower stops, and yes the shower stalled was disconserting same with ferries.
Editing game is unreal, Danny! Safe travels ya legends
Cheers mate, finally got a decent laptop a couple of months ago so trying to up my game haha. Hope you’re well 🤝
Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉You made it! 💪😎
What a journey! Would you do it?
Enjoy ❤❤❤❤❤❤welcome to Philippines
Thank you!
wow that's a long ride... but thank you for taking us through your vids, at least an idea of what's it like. and for that i subscribe
Yep, we were definitely exhausted once we arrived in Siargao 😂
We need to get you on a proper cruise boyo!!
I’d love nothing more than a Mediterranean cruise
Ur so handsome Danny! 😘
Haha thanks
There are many stunning beaches in Romblon near Masbate. And even in Masbate, there are some beautiful nature including the Catandayagan Falls, the only waterfalls in the Philippines that empties its water directly to the sea. You should have gone there!
We’ll have to put the island on our itinerary for our next visit! It’s so hard to go everywhere in The Philippines, too many nice places! 😂
Chill kid, first time tourists will go to the most popular tourists destination spots on the first place rather than those underrated or minor destinations. Let him do his own itinerary were he follows to🤣🤣🤣
Weeeh ...🫰🫂🤳
mybe you try ride a bus goin to surigao cty
you can spend half of that with a shorter route
Well at least we had an adventure 😂
nice😊
hey bro good filming, but you make a travel vlog and all i see is you and your girl. not any interaction with locals
I’d like to include more interactions with locals, one area I definitely need to work on. Sometimes I find it hard to point a camera in a strangers face though 🤦♂️
