  • Looking at the final plans for the general store, taking notes on what is in scale and what needs to be built, how will I attach things to the walls and what about that porch?

It's getting to the exciting part next, putting it all together. Have a look at Queen City Minis, I think she has made a stove. It's either her or Little Gretchins Workshop or Tiny Keyhole Minis

Candy/honey sticks would be cute in jars on that receipt organizer too

Hi Stef. I've been doing miniatures for about 6 months. Very new to it but I love how it makes me think. I'm trying sticky ( museum) wax, it works well for things on flat surfaces. It's easy to move an item to another spot.

Actual general stores would not necessarily be completely styled with all the wood stains matching except when it’s the only stain in town. One could also add a light wash to the other wood pieces to make them closer but look like the piece is older. If that makes sense.

I left my porch unattached so that I could store it easier. I also have been wondering where to put my axes and I like your idea of the silver milk container. My store is ready to decorate but I've been waiting to see what you do first.
