In this video we will show you the best time frame for applying swing trading strategies and for identifying key support and resistance levels. Not knowing how to use multiple time frames for swing trading is one of the biggest mistakes traders make.
You need to understand swing trading in order to understand day trading, because all times frames can tell a different story. Without understanding swing trading and true market direction, you will have a harder time day trading effectively because you wonât see the bigger picture, the bigger trends, and even worst getting caught on the wrong side of a very strong trend.

Quick question. So I'm using think or swim for my charting and it's listed as time interval and aggregation period. My aggregation period is weekly but what would you suggest for my time interval? A year out, 3 years, five? I'm very new to the charting world lol. Thanks for your help.

Omg!!! I am a self taught chartist, mastered candlesticks, chart patterns, and indicators. I have amassed a library of trading books, BUT nothing ever explained how to use the timeframes, weekly vs daily vs etc. So I was at a loss on how to put to use all the "stuff" I learned. It was just a mish mash of info. With this one video about timeframes, it all came together and made sense. It provided a context within which to use all the other "stuff." This channel is by far the best I've seen on CZcams. The content is concise, informative and completely BS-free. Every new and experienced trader should start right here with these videos. I've been through a lot of other material from other sources, and 95% of them are a complete waste of time. This channel on the other hand is pure gold!

Best trading videos which are explained with price action without indicators.
Good demonstration on this. I see how this can help doing it this way with weekly levels and monthly levels. If it is necessary to go shorter time frame you can make the levels only visible on short time frames so they don't clutter the charts.
Note to myself: Weekly is best for finding imp levels for swing purpose...and don't forget to use different colours for daily/weekly/monthly levels.
I wonder if RSI should be set to 5 instead of 10 days (for swing trades)? Good stuff!
