Ik it made me sad to All these good memories we had as a kid Man Miss seeing this as a kid And even my friends miss this place to They even went there for field trip before and they love it! Well now it’s becoming a trampoline park and idk when is gonna open but I Will find more information about it as long I’m not busy
It closed because the place was basically unmaintained. The game area which was the biggest draw more than half the games didn't work and winning tickets didn't matter since the prize counter was always closed. I went here about 3 months before they closed and a employee told me the prize counter hadn't been open for months. Once Round 1 opened in the Jefferson Mall right down the road it was basically the death of this place. The only thing it had going for it was it had the only arcade in the area. Once it lost that subpar pizza wasn't going to keep it alive. More so when the employees would get mad when you came back for more pizza even if it was a all you can eat buffet.

So what's was the point of going to a very run down Mr Gatti's that only offered pepperoni and cheese pizza since they stopped getting in more food supplies and a game area where half the games weren't on or were broken.
They took over the closed Golden Corral building at the other end of the Parking Lot and now its Gattis.... I actually worked in this building before it became Gattis, it was an OG WILSONS Dept Store, in the 80s when I was going to college.
I went there not too far off from when it closed down for Nostalgia. Half of the arcade machines were broken and the demographics of the customers and workers was almost entirely Wakanda.
I went like a month or 2 before it closed and most of the game were broken there was barely any staff it was pretty sketchy and barely any customers were really there

This place made it to the news for a massive roach infestation. It was pretty much a wrap after that. I remember what a big deal it was when this spot opened. I remember playing the Tekken and Hydro Thunder machines. I remember all the feces smeared on the walls in the restroom 🤣🤣🤣 Surge on the fountain. 99/00. Last time i went i was high as hell and pit mac n cheese on a fully loaded baked potato. I font thinkni wouldve enjoyed it sober. It was long down the tubes by then.
Wow! When did that happen!??? I will say this, I went to this place back in February this year, as Sky Zone, and after seeing this video, I can say they really ripped it down floor to ceiling. You can’t even tell it ever was once a Gatti’s now. It seems though, like the new Sky Zone is much nicer based on reviews saying the cleanliness really began to go downhill at this Gatti’s. The new one in the old Golden Corral is nice. It doesn’t have a very big gaming area, but it is clean though.
@@GMTX-kg8ep call me weird, but I miss the small old crappy locations. 3rd. Fern Creek. They'd only have like two arcade machines and one big screen TV, but the food was always the freshest and hottest. Plus they'd take requests and make special pies.

This makes me very sad, I used to go there all the time with my dad and my aunt. It just makes me feel empty seeing it like this, idk.

They closed Gatti's Pizza? Yikes... I remember going on a field trip years ago to this place when I was in middle school... food was alright.

I mean they opened just the pizza part where the Golden Corral was around the corner. The pizza is decent.
