One suggestion would be to supply plug n play harnesses. Little bit more overhead but complete reversibility

Couldn't agree more!! Never hurts to eliminate one potential install task for screwing something up. Would be worth paying slightly more for that convenience.

I just installed the DRL's on my Supra and I love them! They're so much brighter than the other DRL kit I had on the car and this video was a lot of help making it a simple install. I'm going to recommend your DRL kits to all my Supra friends!

I installed mine but my DRL’s dont turn on? My kit also came with 2 vampire clips? Is that new because they arnt in this video
@@ShadowsMKV The T-Tap connectors are included if you don't have access to a soldering iron. Did you wire in the ground/power wires for the bluetooth controller?
Yes I spliced both the wires to connect ground and positive, taped them up with electrical tape after since I had no soldering kit. I went ahead and verified the tape wasn’t going to move. I still ended up using the vampire clips just in case. @illumo

Those are Work Meister S1 3P wheels 🤙🏻
They look sick, but I reckon during daytime with sunlight hitting the headlights any colour except for white wouldn’t be as effective as the white.
The boards use RGBW LED's so there's a dedicated crisp white like the OEM DRL's that is retained with this mod :)

Those headlights are tinted in the video, so without the tint, it'll look even brighter :)
Is the white as bright as factory after this mod ? This is the only reason I haven’t done this mod in the past. I’ve heard the white isn’t as bright but in not sure what board they used for the modification.
It's probably close to 90% brightness of the OEM DRL - Definitely not dim, and worth the upgrade for the extra features. Forgot to mention that the Supra in this video had tinted headlights as well!

The turn signal still works with this mod the same way as it does with the OEM boards :)
Any way to make them have sequential turn signals?
Only way would be to split the headlights open and run a LED strip from behind the path of the DRL. It'll be a pretty big job to do!
Does this override the factory headlight selection? Meaning you can now choose if you want the left or the right DRL to be on or off?
The colour selection via the app will over-ride once activated. As far as controller left and right DRL individually, unfortunately that's not something it can do. Whatever you change in the app, will change the pair simultaneously. You don't lose the factory functionality with this mod though. So the DRL's will still turn amber when you signal left or right.

I love the mod but I don’t have the space or know good shop to trust here in Pennsylvania.. bummer.
Any mechanic will definitely be able to help - it's quite an easy mod to do. Just show them this video - it's a step-by-step guide :)
Compared to the one color only, is the intensity of the light the same?
It depends on the colour chosen as that plays a part in how bright the light is. For example, green is going to be brighter than dark blue.
But, our DRL's are the brightest RGB DRL's on the market :)
How much you think it cost for labor T.T if I bring the part to the tech to install it
Depends on their hourly rate. You can show them this video and they'll have a pretty good idea. It should take roughly 2.5 hours

If the DRL is yellow, what color is it when turning?
It is amber / orange when you signal, and once signalling is complete, it will go back to the colour it was set.
I'm curious, when you start up the car will the OEM light still work/function? I bought another set of DLRs and OEM functionality is lost. I can only get them working by turning it on via my app. Might turn to these.
These have an optional start-up animation. For example, you can set it to start off at blue and then gradually transition to white, and then the colour you last set it. Hope this answers your question!

what happens if the control module fails will the DRL's still light up the factory white light?
If that does happen, the white DRL stops working (which is very unlikely as these controllers are very robust). However, the signal lights will still function so safety isn't compromised :)
