Note on the Deep thinker: if you get a wide model it floats like a true powder board while still having the versatility of a normal width, personally my go to for every condition
Grabbed one on sale can't wait to try it next year
I´m in love with the Ravine!!! That set back camber makes a unic ride.
Got the Ravine and the Katana bindings last year for riding in BC at Whitewater. Did 60+ days on it, and the thing rips. I can't imagine a better board to hit the pow, pistes, and park in the same day. Usually I look to get a new board every two seasons or something, but I don't think I'll ever ditch this thing!

Hi. Will ION step on boots with X step on bindings (Burton 23/24) work well with this board? These bindings are quite stiff. And one more question - is this board is also good for aggressive "dance" on bumpy crud?

My favorite freeride board has to be the lib tech skunk ape... it was my first board, but did everything (except rails) well. Loved the wide and boaty feel it had...although its changed over the years and you cant get the columbian gold wood core. Felt damp and very lively.
Surprisingly, i use my superdoa everywhere, even in soft snow i havent had an issue, floats just fine if you set it back and carry speed. So its my go to now.
Have wanted to try that endeavor, bataleon, k2 alchemist, rome stale crewzer and im sure the megadeath is insane.

I have the Alchemist 160 and 163 and the LibTech Skunk Ape and a few others. Give he Alchemist some time to master, it's a real machine.

I'm an intermediate rider transitioning to powder. I currently own a full camber board that isn't great in powder conditions. I'm choosing between the Endeavor Archetype and the Capita Navigator. Which board is better suited for riding resort powder? I'm specifically looking for a board capable of handling morning powder rides and also performing ok within the resort in the afternoon. While I'm not an advanced rider, which board is more beginner friendly for powder? Thank you!
How does the Bataleon Cruiser compare with the Bataleon Thunder?

How would you compare the mega death to the mega merc? Also you didnt tell a lot about mega death performance in powder, how was it?
I have a 2023 BSOD and a 2022 Merc, the Merc is a pile of garbage next to the BSOD
what about the skeleton key compared to the deep thinker?
How far outside of the top 5 was the new Kazu? Did the added rocker in the tail take it out of contention?

I've got the 154 Deep Thinker and the 156 Mega Death boards. I've noticed that the Mega Death takes a bit more energy to ride from the top to the bottom of the mountain. Have you experienced the same thing, or is it just my skill level?

If u had to choose between the bataleon camel two and the thunderstorm what would u pick???
It really depends of what you are trying to achieve.
Thunder is a backcountry freestyle snowboard.
Cruiser is better if want to carve.
Camel two is better in tight forest freeride.
among all of these boards, i'll pick the mega death, the others are blaah... i see many many other better choices for pow backcountry quivers

Flexible = Dancehaul is your pick!! If you’re leaning bit more into charging/carving/full throttle DON’T size down on it!! Smooth riding board! It’s not the fastest one, but satisfieng speed when u think bout the pricepoint! Overall rly fun board especially from your pov flexier/relaxt ride u can still easy razor on edge!😊

Off topic but on a Burton channel board for camber disk bindings do you use EST screws or the camber disk screw? Have been using est vitas but got a couple new boards and some union bindings I want to try on the custom.
Always the shorter EST SCREWS. NOT THE LONG "NORMAL" ONES. OTHERWISE YOU'LL FIND THEM MAKING DENTS IN THE BASE OF THE BOARD BEFORE THE BINDING IS TIGHT.
