Great backpacking trip. Enjoy your videos and trips. You always have interesting food choices. Maybe I just need to come out of my shell of Ramen, Mountain House, Tuna Selections and Oatmeal choices.

Hi Susie, Thanks for watching. Yes, you need reservations in advance. There are bear poles at some sites. At the ones that don't have them you are required to hang your bag or use a ursack. I used a ursack. I didn't see any bears though!

I was in the Porkies like a week after your visit. I thought I hiked my butt off during my trip, but this was truly impressive.
