Let me guess, OP is the only girl in that group and those guys have been just prying on her, while she thinks they are friends. Hope she cut off everyone and is now happy with Josh.
@robloxiangamer8 it isn't her fault, if u knew ur friends for longer than u knew your boyfriend and like 5 of ur close friends tell u this, and there isn't any way to disprove it, she ofc would belive them
Girls can do this too, it's not like this is a boy only thing, there have been many stories about girls who do this just to set up their friend with their brother or something else like that. If anything, he could be the only guy in the group and the others decided to pull this out themselves

I honestly don't understand why Josh got back with her. Trust is the foundation of any relationship; once it's gone, the relationship is over. The fact that the relationship ended due to a lack of trust and he still came back is mind-boggling. Like, why? I don't see any reason that would suffice. "Everything in the relationship was perfect" isn't really a reason either. To add on, OP's story doesn't make sense. "I trust him more than anything," yet you ended a relationship based on something your friends said. Also, people are saying you can't put the blame on her, but I beg to differ. She has some fault in the entire situation. She didn't have any proof other than a story her friends told her, making it "He said this and they said that." The fact she didn't have enough trust in the person she was planning to spend her life with is another problem entirely, but the point still stands: she ended a relationship with a person she claims to "trust" based on hearsay. She acted rashly, and then, boom, the relationship was gone. So instead of seeing both sides, she completely ignored his side. Meaning her lack of thinking ended a "perfect relationship." Which is also skeptical; it can't be a "perfect relationship" when something as simple as hearsay is all that is needed to break said relationship. FYI: Trusting and being naive are two different things. Me saying she should shoulder part of the blame in the situation doesn't discredit her friends mischievous stunts or say she takes the majority.
Well, I agree. But I also think everyone has to grow up sometime, and we do that by “going through it.” She said her relationship with Josh was her first real relationship, so it sounds like they were young and she didn’t know better. Her reasoning for believing her friends over him was that she had known the friends longer, and ALL of them corroborated the same story. I can see why she did what she did, not that I agree with it. She’s incredibly lucky Josh understood what happened and decided to try again with her. But her saying “everything is perfect, I trust him implicitly” doesn’t mean Josh feels the same way. He has a legitimate reason to be wary moving forward. I hope they can make it, I hope they’re happy together. It’s in my nature to be skeptical and err on the side of realism, but I can still hope lol
In story 3, it doesn’t make sense how the husband believes that she was dead the whole time if he had only been contacted about the unidentified murder a few months earlier. That would most likely mean that she did abandon the family but got murdered after that 15 years
They might have found bones buried somewhere and were trying to identify it. OP never mentioned if the investigator said how long she’s been dead but considering he said it’s been the 15 years I think it’s safe to assume that’s what he was told he just didn’t want to share details.
The fact that she believed her friends over the PERSON WHO YOU WERE GOING TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH is probably the dumbest thing she could have done. Not to mention the fact that she had known BEFORE ALL OF THIS that they were wanting to get her to go out with one of the other friends… that should have been the BIGGEST damn clue that her “friends” were probably lying. She’s lucky he’s as forgiving as he is. I would have never gotten back with her.
I don’t have to… it’s not exactly this but a few of my girls friends managed to convince her I was racist and even I after I provided her with perfectly sound evidence she still choose her friends over me. This is my 3rd time being in a healthy relationship with a girl and having it all ruined by false allegations against me. I’m tired of it and don’t know how much more I can take. My aunt is in the hospital on hospice and she is going to die soon. This girl has everyone but my closest friends turned against me. I’m ruined I will never be able to talk to a girl who I know right now again because of these allegations.
Honestly he shouldn’t forgive her bc she believed her friends who she knew wanted her to date Alex without any actual evidence. That’s not a great sign for a relationship.
So pretty much the rest of the story was her moving on and staying with her friends then started dating someone in the group named alex. The thing about him was that everyone wanted those two to date so she didn't really decide it. Then one day, she ended that relationship but he wanted to say smth to her but she was like no thanks. So one of the other friends broke the news that it was all a grand scheme for her and alex to date. She was super sad and stuff and was crying. She was like I can't still be their frienda they lied to me. Then after that she was mourning the whole thing and then she decided to send him a letter about how she knows it's selfish to text him back but she said she was really really sorry. She said she was understanding if he said no and got super mad she's tryna come back. He didn't respond back tho. He came to her apartment because she invited him to go have a drink somewhere and she was more than happy for it. Then they spent the rest of the day and night together and they caught up for their lost time and I guess unfriended her highschool group. Yayyy
Y’all are trashtalking her, but you guys have to understand that they were her highschool friends. And she obviously trust people more then a boyfriend she just met, so don’t bully her over it, the friends are the real assholes
Agreed. When six people you trust tell you the same story, most people would believe it. Testimony IS evidence. In fact, the courts hold it as the highest form of evidence. To say she had none is incorrect. The evidence was overwhelming, it just so happened to be false. That's why he was able to take her back. She wasn't his accuser, she simply reacted to the accusations in a way most would. What's troubling is she actually seemed to question if she should cut these people off. It seems she has found clarity there, but the hesitation alone is disturbing. What if her friends had held OP down while Alex forced himself on her? To physically manipulate her body, against her will, for the sexual gratification of another would be seen as rape. But when they opt to manipulate her mind and her emotions instead of her body to exactly the same ends, that's somehow less egregious? But they took it a step further than a simple assault. This was a betrayal of years of established trust, a literal conspiracy against her, such that anyone she might have turned to for comfort or support was, unbeknownst to OP, actively working against her. Not only did they manipulate her so Alex could have his way with her, they robbed her of someone she loved, and used her to hurt the person she loved at the same time.
is " highschool friends" some cast that puts them above the person she expects to spend the rest of her life with? "boyfriend she just met" don't make stuff up just to have something to say... @@ArkryalTestimony alone is not sufficient to convict someone. Even in rare cases where it's the primary evidence, there are requirements that must be met. These include consistency and detail, as well as the absence of contradictory evidence. The fact of the matter is that the "trust" that OP proclaimed to have in Josh is or was nonexistent. The fact that there was contradictory evidence throughout the entire ordeal, yet she still chose to end a relationship without any further investigation, speaks for itself. The fact is that she has to decide whether to end her relationship with her "friends" who wronged her. So, yeah, she should shoulder some blame for that relationship ending, and, to be honest, I don't even know why Josh got back with her. No normal person just hops up and gets back into a relationship like nothing happened, especially when it involves trust being broken. Not to mention with the same person. Yeah, maybe he could understand how that relationship ended and know she, herself, isn't to shoulder 100 percent of the blame, but that doesn't fix that broken trust. Nor does it fix the lack of trust. My point is, IMO, it doesn't make sense to say OP doesn't have any blame when, in fact, her choices aided in the downfall of that relationship.
