"when attacking troops on the map" this doesn't require you being on the field, it requires your enemy to be on the field to trigger, but since it's in a Structure, this won't work

Hera expertise is 30 percentage all damage reduction against smite commanders
Scipio probably didn't do well because Hera reduces the normald dmg of the enemy by 30% (if mixed troops)
What about Harald? Harald has a skill which grants tons of attack in exchange for a large defense reduction, but scipio aemilianus can clear the defense reduction and be immune to it with his 3rd skill
constantine has 40% skill dmg resistence which far outweighs 40% attack reduction (Not a direct reduction on normal attack)

Skill reduction do nothing against smite damage, since smite is not counted as skill.
But is a 0% reduction against Scip

you are overlooking Eleanor's 10% chance to cast her active. ScipioA's rallies need skill damage reduction. With all that smite damage, he needs some more protection. Someone pointed out in the simulator discord that putting Saladin's support skill on it does a LOT better.

What is the troop composition of the eleanor garrison? If its 33% cav, inf, archers, then in theory it should trade even better if its 90% cav 5% inf 5% archer
great video thanks. I'm curious about something, if you only use two marches and use beli prime, do you do 6% all dmg or do you have to have at least 3 marches for that

@harisbesirovic2656 Just because you only have 2 marches doesn't make is dumb. It's great, actually. But it's not a f2p com, it's a whale march. It's phenomenal for swarming down flags. But f2p doesn't have the troops to spare to regularly swarm down flags anyway
Edit; his only use isn't swarming down flags. He's great for anyone with 5 marches. But he'll make a huge impact when swarming flags. Passive skills stack, so a half dozen bell's will melt a flag in no time

This is the first time in rok that one expertise or skill 100% depends on the number of marchs. nevsky has a def reduction that increases with the number of marches, but even if you have one march, you still have a def reduction. This is literally as far as I know the first time something like this exists and it costs 310 golden heads and you can't use exp if you don't have 3 marches, it must be stupid

I don’t think using the new Scipio as the Primary is valid until we really see what does what. Why not use Tariq as the primary. And for S&G’s I wanna see a ring with a silent trial. Like to know more about the rage reduction and silencing ability.

William 4th skill doesn't work on attacking garrisons. Same as lui che 3rd skill
I like the effort made for content, but all of these results are most likely speculative as we aren't sure how the Smite tree will pan out, or if they will make last minute changes.
Sure, but the cav talent tree that is being used it completely wrong as well. Its wasting like 12 points in skill DMg reduction. That should easily make up for the variance in the smite tree. This is the same sim that said Eleanor was very good pre release and it ended up being completely correct so I trust this very much.

Lui Che is unique in smite commanders cause he pairs good with everybody. Lui Che AOE makes him meta. The new smite commanders have no pair except Lui Che.

Eleanor tree isn’t the right one when you test vs New Scipio/Wallace… all talents points reducing skill dmg should be reallocated
Yup, the big Kane guy didn't do this as well in his tests. But in the sim, you cannot change talents
people still don't realize that talents matter; even more in garrison/rallies.
Honestly it doesn’t surprise me he’s not preforming well, even if the sim isn’t %100 accurate. Infantry have never really had a meta rally. Always been the meat shields of the game, wether that’s in rally, garrison or field. As an infantry main trust me I know

Yet, gorgo lc rallies were beating Eleanor. Nobody runs the set infantry chest and legs either.
@@jbird9218 if you are talking about the ark tests, those tests were conducted with Eleanor wasting a ton of talent points into skill DMg reduction
