- Tower of the Mad Mage got an increase to it's difficulty, specifically for solo tanking, as the the damage per Annihilation stack will increase the damage you take by another 25% from the Annihilate Balls and 50% more damage from Halaster's At-Will attacks. So lets take on this challenge, and find that fine balance between surviving and also holding the aggro

I have been able to get through this. Dps or tank. Fighter tank/dps. With a team or random. Most people quit before they learn it. Or in my case, work through it and it all slows down.
Vow, sacred, templars is for the win i been using this ever since mod 21 because smite like you just demonstrated does not work effectively as much as the magnitude looks awesome to hold aggro it just doesn’t i have tried explaining this to many other justicars but they swear by smite but they also are not the ones invited to end game content whereas i am so go figure 😂 even in random queue content my groups are always telling me “awesome tank skills” only thing i wish is that sacred would have less of a cooldown and generate more stamina and they fix the damn divine touch because if i could generate more threat while healing as tank id say bye templars and hello divine touch, lol man we be gods again i would make a extremely interesting tank, the barb and fighter will wish to be a pally 😂 but at the current state we just doing what we can. Great vid as usual
yep agreed. Would be awesome if they could fix the threat on Divine Touch, would be nice to have a Tank/Heal hybrid build

@@draconicpeasantsheep i know text hits a different chord its not meant to be radiating your description what its meant to mean is i have explained to others in game why not to use smite so i can see them in end game, but they simply ignore and say its best but clearly its not. Sorry you mistaken the tone

this part is the problematic bit for me. i don't know how that reads to you, but to me it's not that great. kinda feels exclusionist. apologies for being offensive
@@draconicpeasantsheep I understand but im not hosting the groups and i land in random queues and am complimented i always give my fellow man/woman advice because i want success all around the community is so small in console it needs a multi platform so anyone that i can help i do even when i host things i dont care about high iL as long as you are at requirements lets go

Since the halaster fight is long, would it be interesting to use the bonus of the companion rust monster, which decreases the critical that the enemy applies?

hey, Love your videos! Could you please let us all know if Paladin is better then Fighter tank? I'm sort of new, I know you need a lot of time to get through the game, don't want to make a class and then switch later on coz its worse then the other one...
they play a little differently, but both can get the job done. The Fighter is probably the easier one to play, with a bit more team buffs

Ok.. this has nothing to do with this video so i apologise, but im pissed off... i upgraded my new character till lvl 20... and after all that i got 80 Incentives.. not even 100... some got even less. This is so bad...
I knew that is in a way imposible to get 200... but 80 or less is so poor.
Is there a chance that Cryptic before Neverembers Recruitment is done fix bug...? Im willing to try again just to get companion tokens :(((

Ofc i had new toon slot.. and i was so sure that i will get at least 150 incentives. You were maybe lucky.. :( i could try again with 3rd character

Nope.. i dont. I just have my main character which had 0, and this one which got little of incentives. I made 2nd one just to get those 200
Your tank has like 2mil hp? how? I notice that ball hit you at like 60% blue shield for 1.4mil and it didn't even hit your red bar.....also why aren't the TOMM weapons worth more now since its harder? They are still the best in slot if you aren't in a 5x MW team....
The Paladin Blue shield + my shield (60% of max hp with tab) and boots probably proced to give me 1.5 mill hp. So about 900k my shield + 600k healer blue shield

ALL 3 tanks are capable of solo tomm. depends on the player's skill. now saying that tank paladin is bad is very immature on your part. it may be bad for you, not for others. I solo tomm With my Sentinel. Yes, the most subdued tank of game. So be more Humble instead say a class is bad. Peace!
I also have a palatank so I can compare the two and I find the palatank much less strong than the gf so don't rage on my comment it's just my opinion and I hope for an upgrade of the pala tank . PEACE LOOOL
in palatank he needs the horn of the vallahla and he plays with an augmentation companion, the gf solo tank also with a debuff artifact and a companion striker so he helps the team more by doing the same job
@@antho0634 Rage who is rage? I think you need some tea. I see, I understand that you are one of those players who defend the gf tooth and nail and think that he the only one does a perfect job. You are playing wrong buddy. And not, no need Horn for this.
Now if you CANT solo or dont have the ability to solo with other tanks it's your problem because of your lack of skill. Much easier to go from gf and get used to its gameplay. People always want the easiest and then the ego rises. But its ok. :) peace again!
