    Were you running subs? I cant tell. Just 2 tops for 1k? Thats an insane crowd you got there! Keep it up. Also btw to fix that no driver issue open that config utility on your mac before serato and the jog display will fix

    Hold up. I'm confused as hell right now lol. They positioned you very far away from the dance floor in a HUGE room with over 1000 kids??? And it looked like y'all rocked it though. It didn't seem like you had enough sound to cover that, but looking at the video, I guess you did. Lol... good job!

      yep its because he was running yorkville, not many speakers can handle that crowd with only 2 tops. .

    im currenty watching djs djing for prom and im just excited but nervous since im gonna be djing for my own prom in july for the first time, any advice/tips? (btw i havent had the chance to dj and get proper equipment yet, but ive been using a dj app to do my mixes) i think im getting a dj set for my birthday tho in june do you think i will have time to practise before?

      Advice that I have for you is don’t be afraid or nervous u got it when you put your mind to but also don’t play any of the banger’s until u got the crowd on the dance floor some time it doesn’t matter what equipment as long as people are having fun and on the dance flow u doing your job

    • @djmemories7262
      @djmemories7262  Před rokem +1

      And also what do you have for equipment if you don’t mind me asking

      @@kattlovessmusic you will be fine, I was also nervous when I was about to dj my own prom, you got to practice with your set since an app could be different and most importantly know your music and know your own school since every school is different. Also don’t be afraid to hype your crowd. For me school dances are always a fun experience so hope it’s a fun one for you too.

    i was on another vid when a random guy wrote this on another video. . , figure it might help you out, your would got more volume if your height was higher for your specific situation "

    Your speakers are way too low

    @DJ Aubrey Clark your statement is completely subjective and for his crowd it was perfect. . tests have been done on this but in short it depend on the density of the crowd and how far back the crowd goes, it was 200+ people in a dense room that goes 100 or more feet then you are correct. if its lets 50-100 people but the dance floor is only 20-30 feet out, then going over there heads will do just that and go over over there heads. . , well then its best to have to have the middle of the speaker about head level, this allos for good audio up close while mainting the abiltiy to go farther out. For his crowd, his height was perfect, it was a small room with a small crowd, that had no need to project past people. also you get the benefit of the tops bass low end coupling with the subs giving you more bass"""
    in your situation it seems you went about the mid to there heads. .
