  • Long-haul flights put the quality of airlines to the test. Depending on the seat, amenities, food and service, the experience can leave a positive or negative mark on the passenger. Air France received its first state-of-the-art Airbus A350 in 2029 and currently deploys them on a multitude of long-haul routes, including an 11-hour journey from Paris to San José, Costa Rica. Does Air France excel in the long-haul flight sector? Find out in this trip report, brought to you by me!

    True. The 11 hr flight is not a joke. The excellent food/services, extra legroom, internet/entertainment, comfort, spacious loo et al. seem familiar to the top 10 best airlines. I love ANA, Qatar, Singapore, Qantas because of these features. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you! And yes, AF’s A350s truly are a much better type than their aging 777-200ERs ✈️

      Thanks for the comment! I use a set of Bose noise cancelling headphones, those can be easily found on Amazon.
      Unfortunately no but there is however a audio port and a USB-port on AF’s A350, but it would be a nice feature!

    Wow! Only one hot meal for an 11 hour flight? The snack box looked ok with the same bread as the first meal. I remember that bread! Very heavy and dense. Great flavor with butter & cheese!

    the cabin of the A350 seems very silent compared to other Airbus aircrafts and compared to the Boeing 777, can you confirm ? thanks

    • @ticoaviation
      @ticoaviation  Před rokem +1

      Indeed, the A350 is one of the most silent long-haul aircraft out there, definetly more silent than the 777, A330 and even certain 787 models. A great airliner overall with a bright future.

    Quantas embraer ins San jose?? For maintenance?? Anybody can explain???

    • @ticoaviation
      @ticoaviation  Před rokem

      A maintenance company called COOPESA is based in San José, they basically do C-checks and maintenance and stuff like that. They’re qualified to give maintenance to Embraer aircraft so Qantas sends them over here for maintenance. Hope this helps and don’t hesitate to ask me for any further questions 👍
