- So it's been a while since I've made a video like this. The One-Core API devs have once again made the impossible possible and now you can run the latest version of Firefox (with some bugs and glitches) on Windows XP.
This is insane.

I wished CZcams still kept their old Hitchhiker UI because it works better with older browsers, they removed it in 2020 and now everyone's forced to use that modern Polymer UI.
I agree, they should have moved it to something like old.youtube.com so you could still use older browsers on CZcams. There’s some extensions that try to recreate this UI, and also some third party clients

Wow. I would not think Windows XP would be powerful enough to run firefox
ive never had any luck with one core api. possibly because ive never tried it on a virtual machine? i always just use real hardware. literally the only thing i can get to work with one core api installed is the built in windows 7 games.

With youtube maybe it doesn't work cause it'd need H.264 codecs (or H.265 or both can't remember) installed on the system itself, I had the exact same issue on a newly installed Fedora cause the codec wasn't installed by default, after install it worked perfectly so it may help with Windows XP too.
How is it working?
If it work fine I will ditch Windows stwitch to Windows xp.

do you know how to uninstall one core api? its just not working out for me, and the only thing its really done is make my computer run SUPER slow, and i just cant have that. i cant seem to figure out how to uninstall it, so it may not be possible.
It should be possible through the normal uninstall updates/programs method, although that might leave some traces behind. Either way you can always backup and reinstall
