I find it interesting how people are so willing to leave things behind. I kept thinking to myself that a person must have retired there and passed away. The surviving family members didn't know what to do with the remaining stuff. Or maybe it was one of those times people kept thinking they would finish sorting the place later. Either way, it was an interesting exploration for us.

Old Style reel to reel Tape recorder used o be 7 inch reels that were run on loose tape. Wollensak was the best kind, late 1950's early 1960's then cassette tapes took over.
Would be worth a bit to collector of old tech. Must have been interesting old person who lived there. Writers used tape recorders like that to transcribe books to type later to print.

At 14:14, if you pause you can make out an unusual woodworking tool that appears to be a type of spokeshave. It's designed to create a rounded edge out of a square face. The piece of timber it's sitting on has already had the rounding applied to the top surface.

And yes, I was wondering how would you pronounce your name.....I barely noticed your accent as I speak with many different people from all cultures almost on a daily basis so as long as I can understand people I don't really notice any differences....only commenting because I read other comments on this.
