What I absolutely adore about Dr.Stone is how absolutely unique it is. Mostly with how it avoids the "Nihilistic" route that most other animes (not necessarily to a fault) tend to take. Dr. Stone doesn't hide that humanity made mistakes. But instead of being like "so we have a race that wants to punish humanity", it goes "LOOK, THIS IS HOW AMAZING IT COULD BE IF WE GOT OUR SH*T TOGETHER!". Senku has an actual moral compass and delivers on it. And in general, the characters are also just amazing. Despite the non-Nihilistic nature, there's rarely any "black&white" either. The good guys all have realistic flaws, and many of the bad guys have good qualities. Each character gives you something to think about, and despite their "features" often getting exaggerated for comedy, they all still feel "real". Some enemies rethink and some do not, but still become allies, simply because the goals go hand in hand. And it nails both humor and the epic moments SO DARN WELL. The "final fight" of Season 2 gave me goosebumps like it was a One Piece climax. Most of the time Dr. Stone is rather chill, but when there's tension, THERE'S TENSION! And above all... it made me appreciate so many things so much more. It shows you that "the power of teamwork" is not just some wannabe-magic spell. It shows you, that even the most "seemingly talentless" person can achieve great things. It shows you that YOU can choose your path. Not by just "believing hard enough in yourself" like media likes to romantisize it. But by using that noggin of yours, being a decent person that people want to help, and abandon that lazy bone to go achieve your dreams. In reality, that is still much harder to do than to say, and for some, unfortunate circumstances may make it actually close to impossible... but our world is so vast and complex - one never has to be alone. And one never has to be bored.
Spoilers for the newest season!! . . . . . . . . . . . Completely agree with you. I was having so much fun with the newest season, then they turned everyone into stone, and my stomach damn dropped. Really, one of the coolest series I’ve ever watched.
I never had experience of the first light bulb that ever built , but somehow when senku made the very first light with the use of a single thread of copper on a single leaf , my eyes melted and I literally had goosebumps.!!
They way Dr. Stone adheres to actual chemical compositions, and real-life experiments is fabulous. And this is the one thing I have mad respect about Dr. Stone.
I had to finish the manga after catching up in season 2, I don't know why no one's hype about it, its so good, Soundtracks, characters, character development , plot, etc 10/10 anime/manga
@@414Anime People dropped this anime because S2 got ruined when the writer couldnt think of a way for Senku to beat Tsukasa, soo he made some talk-no-jutsu power of friendship bullshit and killed Tuskasa off afterwards. This show is now a sorry excuse to shove chemistry down the audience throaths, shame
@@LilmeMusic bro, the whole point of stone war is no Casualties from the start. Fake tank, shield instead of katana and nitroglycerin as a last resort. What ? You want Dr stone became Naruto or something.
@@khairoohsem6327 That's the problem, it doesn't match the current time. You should only publish these works when society is flourishing and people are hopeful about the future and the opposite like during a global recession where they want to look for something they can relate to for comfort. It messed up the timing, you need a dark theme anime during these time to be popular, this is how it works
@@CCS-RRSR-SM It's actually the opposite. People want hopeful stories in times like these. Not just things that will make them depressed, they can just go to their real lives for that.
Dr. Stone really deserves an audience. I hope we can see the entire story animated, it's so good. The suspense alone is worth the watch, but the story is so rich with unique characters and the animation is beautiful.
A lot of people love Dr Stone, and I feel like everyone who watches it checks for a new season every now and then. I read a lot of the manga and I’m currently rewatching the entire series
Dr. Stone is too damn good and it's gonna stand the test of time. Even if it's not 'breaking the internet' with every new ep like the 'hypest' modern shounen it's a unique and exquisitely crafted product with a superb, no-filler anime adaptation that more and more people will find and love as time goes on.
Man Dr. Stone was such a great anime to discover during the pandemic when anti-science rhetoric was getting pushed around like crazy. Plus, it was a breath of fresh air from all the battle shonen I was watching.
as a biochem student, i love Dr Stone!!!! the way the science is closely based on facts and actual experiments we do in labs (and some we don't do due to some lab hazards 🥶) very thoroughly researched!! story-wise, it's well written. Senku is the MC ive been wishing to appear in our generation. he is very smart and a bit sassy but not a pompous asshole....err just a bit of a jerk (but in a Tony Stark kind of way because he uses nicknames to annoy his peers and enemies lol) also he's not afraid to ask for help and he is accepting of people (but not in a doormat kind of way) the friendships made by the characters are very genuine and heck, i even route for the enemies to somehow become his allies and be a part of the Kingdom of Science 😢 also there's just the right amount of fanservice. and most importantly, the female characters are written so well that they shine on their own 💖✨ every character (not all, there's still annoying characters imo) is loveable in their own lil way 🥺 highly recommended if you're tired of reused isekai plots and characters with no moral compass
Not that Dr. Stone doesn't have its own popular and common tropes and archetypes it includes in its story, but Dr. Stone's main premise and plotline that uses in depth real science to solve problems makes it one of the most unique series you can find. While this does have its benefits, it also tends to ensure that the series won't have the biggest mass market appeal out there.
This is one of my favourite animes of all time and honestly, it's still sad to see no one talking about this much. People still react to it which is great but still :/
dr stone made me have moments where i really began to think just how crazy the world we are living in is. it's almost surreal. to anyone from the past this would look like a foreign magic world. and i really appreciate that dr stone can give me such a feeling in an otherwise monotonous and dull feeling life.
Usually I love anime that is centered around combat (90% of animes) but Dr.Stone was equally as great and educational at the same time which puts it in a category of its own. I wasn't disappointed and I'm look forward to the new world part 2
man, i really think dr stone is great, though. it's a breath of fresh air compared to the other animes we have rn. it isn't too flashy, the plot really pulls me in, loveable characters, and the humor is on point. the animation is just 'enough' , meaning that the quality is just right for every situation that occurs in the anime.
I liked anime, Naruto/dragon/full metal/inyuasha. But I just got into new anime. My hero academia/ dr stone/ chainsaw man/ demon slayer. Far step in graphics. But man the stories are so cool now
I remember seeing a video about dr stone that had me interested in watching it myself, it was the first anime I finished and it will always have a special place in my heart. After 1 episode, I was HOOKED, I lost motivation right before Gen was introduced but after that I binged trough the rest. In for example Demon slayer I lost motivation and could go days before I started watching again, I did that multiple times, but in dcst it only happened once. Everything is so amazing in my opinion and it’s so sad that it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
I adore dr. stone. As a science nerd who only used to only love Anatomy, this anime really made me appreciated science's other branches. That's why I'm really happy whenever I meet another person who actually loves dr. stone
I always binge shows back to back as much as I can. Loved Dr. Stone's first 2 seasons, and I'm waiting for season 3 to finish before I make time to watch it all.
@@DiamondDepthYTI refuse to watch weekly releases at this point. That's not why I pay for Netflix, Crunchy, etc. If I was fine with weekly drops I'd still be watching cable or dish.
I think dr stone is just that one anime everyone watches but never really talks about that much cause everyone just knows and agrees its good With newer shows of cource you gotta hype stuff up so that people start watching them but stone has been around for a while already and everyone that likes it just keeps liking it, no need for any "yooo this shit underrated"
season 3 has made it clear that i have a deep emotional connection to the dr stone characters the last few episodes have left me in an emotional state for hours after watching them
They're both in the same category as the status Vinland Saga is in this season. Great anime, great storyline plot, never falters in quality and their buildups are excellent. However, there is not much hype regarding in promoting these shows right now which is ridiculous because I personally enjoy this show than Mashle or Yamada-kun atm which have more to show than Dr. Stone does.
I love Dr. Stone, it's one of the most unique and underrated anime I have ever seen. What I like most about the show is how it's able to make use of the talents of most it's characters instead of overly on the strangest and smartest characters. One of the only characters that has disappointed me is Ruri. It's always a risk when a writer introduces a character as a sick person who needs a cure because you make them more of a situation then a character. I don't feel a strong connection to the character because all she is in my opinions is a plot device, a love interest, motivation for other characters, and a character with a lot of exposition. Rewatching the show, I question what does Ruri do all day besides memorize information. Does she help anyone, train a successor, give orders, help manage the village. I think the show would be much better if Ruri was the village chief and she was too stubborn at first to accept help from outsiders until Senku proved himself by winning the tournament. Looking at the show, sometimes I forget Senku is the village chief. If Ruri was the chief the show would avoid the plot hole of how is the village managing with there chief constantly working on a new science project. Also, I don't feel like the romance between Ruri and Chrome is nessessary. I get it adds to the drama, but I just feel like the show wouldn't change if the crush was removed and Chrome was solely focused on science. Add least with Taiju and Yuzuriha they spend a lot of time together on screen and have a well defined dynamic so it's easy for me to believe those to could make a good couple.
To be fair on the whole village chief thing Senku has basically made it so the village can function without one. Before they were dependant on the chief to tell them what to do. Now the chief is irrelevant. Its like how mayors and stuff are in the real world. We don't depend on them for anything for day to day stuff. Same concept. It's just a title
Dr stone is the first anime that made me pick up the manga. After completing the manga i didn't lose any interest in the anime. In fact, I'm so excited to see my favorite scenes animated!
If Dr. Stone doesn't draw more atention I think it may just be because it's a lighter show, it doesn't have alot of action that makes people watch demon slayer or alot of drama like from I hear Oshi no Ko has, but that is kinda why I watch it, it's a palate cleanser from the other anime, plus the treasure island maybe my favourite arc, it has a smaller core number of characters and it adresses the hopeless situation the soyuz crew were
Hot take but Dr stone could’ve been much more popular as a seinen or if it had actual stakes SPOILERS if you’ve read the manga yk at some point you realize nobody’s gonna die or it’s not gonna last
It's one of the best SciFi/adventure anime. If it's not popular doesn't mean it's bad. The logic in this anime is rather realistic than typical anime like. This is what makes this anime exciting. As for audience it's for everyone who's seeking more logical interest than fiction.
@@AnupomAG yeah no I’m not saying it’s bad by any means I own the manga I love the series but IMO I’ve always thought it could’ve been more interesting if the series had a more serious focus , imagine surviving was an actual task and they played more into everything psychologically 🤔
@@slumpedzen a more survival/psychlogical-oriented approach sounds really interesting and I would definitely enjoy it. But with how it is right now, I dropped it at Season 1 cuz of too much comedy + bland characters imo
i defiantly see the story telling being something that has effected people. its defiantly a anime that's better in full. so i wouldn't be surprise if people are waiting for the season to be finish and watch it in full.
Isn't Dr. Stone one of the biggest AniManga Series in Japan? When I first started Dr. Stone, I dropped it after like ... 5 episodes, cause I thought it was boring. When I gave it a second chance and got to a later part of the anime I was absolutly hooked! This show is amazing. I read the Manga, cause I could not wait for season 3 to finish. And now I'm waiting for the last two manga to drop in my language and the dub version of season 3 to finish. I need to consume more of this story. I am so deeply in love with it. 😭💕
It was until it ended a while ago. Still popular don't get me wrong but it's like most stuff when it ends. It's just not talked about it as much but with the anime that gives people a reason to talk about it again
Dr. Stone is such a great sifi story with great characters and plot Twist... i hope the animate the whole story Senku is such a hopefully characters without feeling corny and thw mythbuster feel of the experiments is always wellcomw

Dr stone is one of the animes I've watched and cried. Multiple times. In fact, every time I hear that lillian weinberg song :,) So I've just decided to read it. And now I already now the plot for s3. I think I will watch it, but for now I'm taking some time Even tho it is amazing. The music for this show is incredible ❤ I've also made some of those wooden shoes they wear for a cosplay xD And you can even walk with them on
personally I love this series as one of the best, it's not THE BEST but it has a lot of memorable things and a good quality that retained my attention, 1st arc was just a race against time trying to advance and one up tsukasa, then to agriculture and exploring to which the scenes of senku's dad, byakuya are always fun and he's definitely one of my favorite characters from the show and the reveal of how he died is one of the most heartwarming yet shocking deaths so well depicted in the manga, to which i will add the manga is by boichi who is an amazing artist, Partial Spoilers from here but the fight to be animated in oct is just one that's also memorable and feels real with stakes not to say other shows don't have this but it's something i feel isn't used much, like actual strats and a fight of knowledge instead of a bland fight where this guy was faster or stronger. which once the journey to the usa starts, it drags a bit for me yet it's the best arc because once it wraps back around, it becomes basically the same as treasure island except they're outmatched, cornered and people die, so much uncertainty and just panic going around for it to all be bet on the petrification to be used to stop and save them, and it's just a breath of fresh air once it wraps and yet the lingering uncertainty that suiki will be able to revive them in her lifetime, just other than the action the story itself and the quirks of knowledge and humor make this easily a 9/10 or 10/10 series for me and even the ending was satisfying for me, to wrap up the petrification with a being of unknown science and that earth is a "slow civilization", but to be able to provide a satisfying ending and a cliffhanger of senku NOT simping and staying true to character by building a time machine and continuously learning, great series
Ive been watching weekly for quite some time now and honestly it delivers so well, dont feel like the pacing is to slow or anything like that, its still the anime i loved back in 2019
I only recently started watching Dr. Stone but when it first came out I thought it just looked okay and put it on the back burner until like a month ago. Definitely regret waiting because it’s been so enjoyable
I still love it, but at least personally, it feels as if this season is more gags at the expense of serious, impactful moments. Like, the balance seems as if it's changed a fair bit. Also, the neat educational bits seem to be all but gone. I'm not about to give up on it, though. And, that's very much just my own impression.
@@Shigeru0508 the characters don’t physically age in the anime. It took months for the ship to be built. Suika was 11 when the ship started being built and she was 12 when the ship finished being built.
@@Sergio-wc1wn "the characters don't physically age in the anime" gonna remember that for one of the later arcs all I'm saying is, builded from scratch, all pieces originally handmade without much of machinery, is still far-fetched to build a ship like this in (?) months
Great video brother. I do think its the seasonal syndrome you talking about. It maybe a Netflix binge kind of series, i find hard for people to watch Fullmetal Alchemist weekly with no context from the manga.
I think for me one of the biggest draws for Dr. Stone is with the protagonist. Senku is an absolute joy to watch and I'm so invested in the journey of the Kingdom of Science. He's likeable and entertaining and dedicated, and goes against a lot of stereotypes I see a lot with very smart characters, he's not especially stuck up or arrogant and he's always willing to share his knowledge and help people. His goals are honorable and I enjoy seeing him develop. And he isn't averse to showing emotion, even if it is very rarely! After years of one-man hero, unlikeable or bland main characters, Senku is a breath of fresh air. Not saying all main characters are this way, just a lot of the ones I've seen tend to lean into those tropes.
Most people watch Dr.Stone because it's progression porn, it's incredibly satisfying to see significant advancements, starting from scratch. That tempo has slowed down a whole lot after the first season. The show still has great pacing, but the lack of massive leaps in technology is a big reason for the lost interest.
Well mostly it's because of lack of typical anime fiction that young people don't find it exciting. The anime story focuses on more logical and realism . Personally I love it. In 2019 when I first started watching it I was amazed by the first episode.
The opinion of its release schedule is a great point. I recently binged the series after giving it a second try after starting up again after only watching the first episode years ago but if I didn’t binge it idk if I would’ve loved it as much as I do now.
Here's an opinion from someone who stopped watching it after S1. I think you've got it the other way around. Its not because its a niche topic, but because it didn't fully deliver on that niche. The main reason I stopped IS because they promise a serious scientific mystery and post apocalyptic world. Yet there is so much nonsense and comedy added in. And it drifts away from the seriousness so quickly. And it felt like most of the time it added tension where there wasn't a need to have tension. And likewise with the comedy. Maybe it gets better in S2 onwards. But imho making something look and sound serious then adding all the nonsense comedy in it is what made me drop it.
I finished the manga a while back, so I don't remember every detail, but I never felt like discussing a event in the story or looking for a CZcams video talking about a Dr. Stone. I like it but I think it's not the kind of story that generates discussion.
My god that's so true. It's not bad in any way but it just doesn't seem like the type of content to discuss much about cause it's kind of straightforward.
I loved the 1st season, I watched the start of s2 but for some reason didn't finish it, probably forgot it's existence in the week I was waiting for a new episode and to be honest, this is the first time I remember hearing about the 3rd season
I don't understand it too. There isn't many science related animes and Dr Stone is perhaps the most captivating, realistic, inspiring and educational of them. And despite it is technically a post pocalyptic, it's funny and uplifting. At the same time there are tones of isekai animes that exploit the same plot and people watch it
1:45 as someone whos watched form the start and is also a big fan of mythbusters i will assuke most like me just dont talk about it, all i talked about was demon slayer, cause ye its HITS hard with emotion this seasons final ep was a 10/10, so yeah theres your reason we just arent active TWITTER USERS 😂
I love seasons 1&2, but season 3 started great and started to lose me as soon as they start to get closer to meeting the main villain for season 3. I just have little to no interest in the finale villain at all.
When I used to use Crunchyroll I saw ads for dr stone but I didn’t know literally anything about it and really only started it on a whim being bored and wondering why Crunchyroll so heavily advertised it. One of the best decisions of my life
you say you used to use crunchyroll and that you saw ads did you stop using it when they betrayed their users and made everything premium only unannounced? i have crunchyroll premium but i never would have been able to get into anime if crunchyroll didnt have everything for free like they did until now
in 2019 when i started watching anime during that summer i saw ads for how to keep a mummy and the quintessential quintuplets and dr stone, i watched all of them but not from the ads i found how to keep a mummy from clicking the random button i found dr stone the greatest anime of all time from matpat and i found the quintessential quintuplets because i didnt want to finish the comic artist and his assistants so soon and not have anything else to watch so i scrolled through crunchyroll and saw that the quintessential quintuplets just looked good based on the image i had so i watched it and it became the 2nd anime i ever watched
Honestly, as soon as I saw season 1 I already fell in love with Dr Stone but with the arrival of season 2 it became a bit boring so no hype and no one watching it, but in season 3 literally the hype was at its maximum given that even now I consider season 3 the best Dr Stone series, new characters, absurd fights and twists.
my problem with the series is in the first episode of season 3 suddenly there is a new character who seems to be important and i have no idea who that is, i got confused and just didn't look any further
has to be that other bigger anime with more mass appeal are releasing at the same time and it just gets overshadowed, but idc I watch it (also finished the manga) and I love it
Dr. Stone is an anime that never disappoints .I mean its graph has always been increasing , every episode is better than the previous one . Even many other big animes disappoint sometimes . Dr. stone does not have any episode that is boring
"very close to solving the great mystery of who and what initially petrified humanity." ...Erm... hate to break it to you, but we're a LONG way towards finding THAT out, not until the end of the series, which will probably be about... 7 or 8 more seasons at the current rate. That said, the next major arc (when they sail to the Americas) is a real treat.
Maybe its hard for people to get into dr stone because they have to watch the seasons before the 3rd one which could make them not want to watch the anime. I for one have done that with other anime. I would rather watch something new than start watching something from season 1 thats already at its season 3. I watched Dr. Stone go from Manga then Anime. Watching every single episode and I still am in love with it. It will be too sad if theres no more seasons because theres no hype though.
I truly think that Dr. Stone and other animes similar to it all suffer from are not the right marketing given to some anime. Just some anime are harder to market than others.
I think its also cause its been nearly 3 years sense its last season and it not being a that big of a Shonen people have just forgotten as a Me major and someone who has alwayae been into science and engineering this show aplead to me and iv been desperately waiting for its next season but i feel like im the only one who has been
Okay, as an engineer who got into it at the beginning, I will weigh in on my perspective. To preface, I dropped Dr. Stone in season 2 just after he reunited with his friends. Maybe season 2 got better after that but all I could see coming up with a fight I just didn't care about. I thought the whole premise of the bad guy and what he was doing was idiotic. I found a lot of the science in the show wasn't fleshed out well and/or wasn't well thought out (for instance their homopolar generator was interesting but just doesn't work well at all, it wouldn't be able to power anything effectively). I found a growing cast of people I didn't really like. While I did really enjoy season 1, all the little things I didn't like about the show built up in season 2 to the point I was questioning whether I was able to enjoy it enough to justify watching it anymore. I ended up purposely dropping it. Not just going "I'll come back to this show when I'm in the mood" but outright saying it wasn't worth my time.
Tbh I found out yesterday that the 3rd season was out... tried to watch the first episode, had no clue wtf was happening... I didnt even knew that there was a special that was released last year. I talked to a friend of mine that is a huge fan of the series on why the hell he didnt tell me that... he didnt know it was out either. I guess that tells you something.
I would watch Dr. Stone over any other anime. I guess I'm just not the target audience for Oshi No Ko or Demon Slayer. I like those animes, but as a nerd, Dr. Stone is #1 for me. I can't wait for the second half of season 3! And I hope they animate the entire manga!
Too many simple minded people in this world, just see the reception of the witness the game, so many casual gamers gave up and said it was too high IQ demanding while I finished it quite easily and enjoyed the challenges. I love this time of anime, just finished Death Mount Dead, Demon Slayer, Cheat Skill and Hells Paradise. See you in October.
I like dr. Stones first few seasons but I tried watching the new one and it just kinda felt like a show for toddlers. Not taking itself serious is okay sometimes but it felt like I’d see it on Nickelodeon. No hate to it though I know many like that style
Personally, if I try to factor out my picks that are likely to be affected by Nostalgia, Dr. Stone lands as my favourite anime ever. But I can also see the problem. Myself, I also avoided it by a long time, because it just didn't appeal to me. I wasn't SUPER into science, the big eye gaps from the female characters kinda put me off and many of the male characters just "looked dumb". But after a friend of mine hyped me up, and I kinda also just thought that Kohaku still looked kinda cute (yeah, blame me), I just gave it a shot. And boy did I fall in love with it!
The problem is that most peoples only stick in their comfort zone of generic shonen animes that almost all have similar scenarios all over again (with their own touch of originality but still) and then when an anime is comes out of that zone, no one wants it and want to keep watching the same damn things all over again, and let's be honest, an anime's quality isn't determined by how hyped it is, there are anime that diserves to be popular but aren't despite how good they are and then animes that are mid at best and get crazy amount of hype.
I'm gonna tell you why I'm not watching the new season yet. I was really into the survival and science aspect but then they started focusing on all these crazy and over the top characters which I feel like transformed the show back into more standard shounen. Also, as I understand it, new season is about discorvering new land, which in theory I should love, but I think it's just too early for that. I would love at least one more season about developing their own territory and technological tree. I'm still gonna watch it but I'm just not that excited about it.
Dr. Stone is just great, we know we don't have to hype it up.
For real.

But by using that noggin of yours, being a decent person that people want to help, and abandon that lazy bone to go achieve your dreams. I had to finish the manga after catching up in season 2, I don't know why no one's hype about it, its so good, Soundtracks, characters, character development , plot, etc 10/10 anime/manga
Crazy isn’t it! Guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but still.
I read a lot of the manga and I’m currently rewatching the entire series
with "Oshi no Ko" and "Demon Slayer" eclipsing and blocking all the light, Dr Stone has no choice but to be in their Shadows.
Everything’s in the shadow of those two this season.
Fortunately like Senku's achievements
It'll Breakthrough from the bottom
and Demon Slayer plot isn't even good😭
@@yall_girl_eve how you can say that just after we got the goddess Nezuko episode
@@LittleFighter2005 demon slayer plot is a joke just compare it to other anime’s who actually have a plot
Dr. Stone is too damn good and it's gonna stand the test of time. Even if it's not 'breaking the internet' with every new ep like the 'hypest' modern shounen it's a unique and exquisitely crafted product with a superb, no-filler anime adaptation that more and more people will find and love as time goes on.
Beautiful✨
Rs.
Imo, dr.stone is way better than Oshi no ko. I absolutely left oshi no ko after the first episode.
❤️
Man Dr. Stone was such a great anime to discover during the pandemic when anti-science rhetoric was getting pushed around like crazy. Plus, it was a breath of fresh air from all the battle shonen I was watching.
What does Dr. Stone have to do with anti vaxxers? 😂
as a biochem student, i love Dr Stone!!!! the way the science is closely based on facts and actual experiments we do in labs (and some we don't do due to some lab hazards 🥶) very thoroughly researched!!
story-wise, it's well written. Senku is the MC ive been wishing to appear in our generation. he is very smart and a bit sassy but not a pompous asshole....err just a bit of a jerk (but in a Tony Stark kind of way because he uses nicknames to annoy his peers and enemies lol)
also he's not afraid to ask for help and he is accepting of people (but not in a doormat kind of way)
the friendships made by the characters are very genuine and heck, i even route for the enemies to somehow become his allies and be a part of the Kingdom of Science 😢 also there's just the right amount of fanservice.
and most importantly, the female characters are written so well that they shine on their own 💖✨ every character (not all, there's still annoying characters imo) is loveable in their own lil way 🥺
highly recommended if you're tired of reused isekai plots and characters with no moral compass
BEAUTIFUL✨
I didn't start dr stone until 2 weeks ago. I binge the three seasons and I absolutely love it.
I liked anime, Naruto/dragon/full metal/inyuasha. But I just got into new anime. My hero academia/ dr stone/ chainsaw man/ demon slayer. Far step in graphics. But man the stories are so cool now
Point being show is so good I’m binging it rn on ep 17
That's why I'm really happy whenever I meet another person who actually loves dr. stone
Finished season one of Dr Stone. I really enjoyed it. But I also enjoy science, and problem solving as well.
I always binge shows back to back as much as I can. Loved Dr. Stone's first 2 seasons, and I'm waiting for season 3 to finish before I make time to watch it all.
Season 3 was split into 2 halves, so it's so frustrating for me, because that means I have to wait until October to finish it 😭
@@DiamondDepthYTI refuse to watch weekly releases at this point. That's not why I pay for Netflix, Crunchy, etc. If I was fine with weekly drops I'd still be watching cable or dish.
I started watching based on the premise alone. One of the most positive, uplifting and educational animes I've seen.
dr stone is the most perfectly paced anime
every episode has a crazy event or reveal
there are 2.4 chapters per episode
its perfect
I think dr stone is just that one anime everyone watches but never really talks about that much cause everyone just knows and agrees its good
With newer shows of cource you gotta hype stuff up so that people start watching them but stone has been around for a while already and everyone that likes it just keeps liking it, no need for any "yooo this shit underrated"
season 3 has made it clear that i have a deep emotional connection to the dr stone characters
the last few episodes have left me in an emotional state for hours after watching them
They're both in the same category as the status Vinland Saga is in this season.
I don’t know man dr stone hype was still pretty big in my country. The ones that no body talks about is ancient magus
That’s interesting! And yeah, I’ve heard nothing about season 2 of that.
@@414Anime It's a fabulous slow burn with throwbacks to character histories in a magical school arc. Love it, but prolly not for errybody

@@AnupomAG yeah no I’m not saying it’s bad by any means I own the manga I love the series but IMO I’ve always thought it could’ve been more interesting if the series had a more serious focus , imagine surviving was an actual task and they played more into everything psychologically 🤔

If it’s big in Japan I hope it continues to get more seasons!
It was until it ended a while ago. Still popular don't get me wrong but it's like most stuff when it ends. It's just not talked about it as much but with the anime that gives people a reason to talk about it again
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS KIND OF VIDEO. DR STONE DESERVES ALL THE HYPE!
Dr. Stone is such a positive anime. The only anime right now that I keep up with when I usually just wait until the anime completely finishes.
Dr. Stone is such a great sifi story with great characters and plot Twist... i hope the animate the whole story

I've also made some of those wooden shoes they wear for a cosplay xD
And you can even walk with them on
I recently binged the whole show up to this point, and goddam I can't wait for more....
personally I love this series as one of the best, it's not THE BEST but it has a lot of memorable things and a good quality that retained my attention, 1st arc was just a race against time trying to advance and one up tsukasa, then to agriculture and exploring to which the scenes of senku's dad, byakuya are always fun and he's definitely one of my favorite characters from the show and the reveal of how he died is one of the most heartwarming yet shocking deaths so well depicted in the manga, to which i will add the manga is by boichi who is an amazing artist, Partial Spoilers from here but the fight to be animated in oct is just one that's also memorable and feels real with stakes not to say other shows don't have this but it's something i feel isn't used much, like actual strats and a fight of knowledge instead of a bland fight where this guy was faster or stronger. which once the journey to the usa starts, it drags a bit for me yet it's the best arc because once it wraps back around, it becomes basically the same as treasure island except they're outmatched, cornered and people die, so much uncertainty and just panic going around for it to all be bet on the petrification to be used to stop and save them, and it's just a breath of fresh air once it wraps and yet the lingering uncertainty that suiki will be able to revive them in her lifetime, just other than the action the story itself and the quirks of knowledge and humor make this easily a 9/10 or 10/10 series for me and even the ending was satisfying for me, to wrap up the petrification with a being of unknown science and that earth is a "slow civilization", but to be able to provide a satisfying ending and a cliffhanger of senku NOT simping and staying true to character by building a time machine and continuously learning, great series
pls make more vids on Dr. Stone
Ive been watching weekly for quite some time now and honestly it delivers so well, dont feel like the pacing is to slow or anything like that, its still the anime i loved back in 2019
I was so flashed by these Dr. Stone reveals!
Dr. Stone is one of the few animes I've gone back to rewatch. It's on a different level.
Trust me, I've never seen an anime season as perfect as Dr Stone's season 2
I only recently started watching Dr. Stone but when it first came out I thought it just looked okay and put it on the back burner until like a month ago. Definitely regret waiting because it’s been so enjoyable
I still love it, but at least personally, it feels as if this season is more gags at the expense of serious, impactful moments. Like, the balance seems as if it's changed a fair bit. Also, the neat educational bits seem to be all but gone.
I'm not about to give up on it, though. And, that's very much just my own impression.
Yeah! I agree that the serious moments are done and then gone in an instant
For me Dr Stone is good but I been hyperfocused on the Social Commentary aspect of Oshi no Ko so it's an issue on my end not on the Anime's End
Just speaks volumes of how good Oshi no Ko has been.
the ending song is so good
Thank you for making this video! You've definitely peaked my interest and I'll be watching this very soon ❤❤❤
maybe Senku's science shenanigans became too unrealistic?

Great video brother. I do think its the seasonal syndrome you talking about. It maybe a Netflix binge kind of series, i find hard for people to watch Fullmetal Alchemist weekly with no context from the manga.
There are so many great aspects of Dr.Stone, from it's unique characters to it's positivity! It's so underrated!!
I think the concept of the show is great. I binge my shows, so I can't wait till the season is over
I love doctor Stone and like you said. I can't wait to watch the next episode just to see what happens.
Thanks for making these videos man! These shows deserve all the dedication you put in them!😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! 🙏
@@414Anime My pleasure
Most people watch Dr.Stone because it's progression porn, it's incredibly satisfying to see significant advancements, starting from scratch.
That tempo has slowed down a whole lot after the first season. The show still has great pacing, but the lack of massive leaps in technology is a big reason for the lost interest.
Well mostly it's because of lack of typical anime fiction that young people don't find it exciting. The anime story focuses on more logical and realism .
Personally I love it. In 2019 when I first started watching it I was amazed by the first episode.
@@AnupomAG Season one was plenty hyped, so I have a hard time believing this is a primary reason.
@@TheDigitalZero I believe because season 2 wasn’t nowhere near as engaging
It gets way worse in s2, you're not missing anything
yeah same reason I dropped it in Season 1
@@fritt_wastaken aite thats good to know. I wont be continuing then.
One of the best decisions of my life
you say you used to use crunchyroll and that you saw ads
did you stop using it when they betrayed their users and made everything premium only unannounced?
i have crunchyroll premium but i never would have been able to get into anime if crunchyroll didnt have everything for free like they did until now
i started watching dr stone when matpat did a video on it
in 2019 when i started watching anime during that summer i saw ads for how to keep a mummy and the quintessential quintuplets and dr stone, i watched all of them but not from the ads
i found how to keep a mummy from clicking the random button
i found dr stone the greatest anime of all time from matpat
and i found the quintessential quintuplets because i didnt want to finish the comic artist and his assistants so soon and not have anything else to watch so i scrolled through crunchyroll and saw that the quintessential quintuplets just looked good based on the image i had so i watched it and it became the 2nd anime i ever watched
I think the problem is that people don't know how science works. As a chemist, I can say Dr. Stone is great. I read the manga, and man... I love it.
That radio signal asking why gave me chills?
my problem with the series is in the first episode of season 3 suddenly there is a new character who seems to be important and i have no idea who that is, i got confused and just didn't look any further
The character was introduced in a special episode
Try watching the movie
True, Dr. Stone is VERY UNDERRATED
I thank my friend for encouraging me to watch this Gem of an Anime
It really is a gem. I have a lot of time for this show.
has to be that other bigger anime with more mass appeal are releasing at the same time and it just gets overshadowed, but idc I watch it (also finished the manga) and I love it
Dr. Stone is an anime that never disappoints .I mean its graph has always been increasing , every episode is better than the previous one . Even many other big animes disappoint sometimes . Dr. stone does not have any episode that is boring
"very close to solving the great mystery of who and what initially petrified humanity."
...Erm... hate to break it to you, but we're a LONG way towards finding THAT out, not until the end of the series, which will probably be about...
I am absolutely watching Dr. Stone! A fan is here! Alive! I need to find more!
I truly think that Dr. Stone and other animes similar to it all suffer from are not the right marketing given to some anime. Just some anime are harder to market than others.
I absolutely adore dr stone, it was my first anime and it kills me to not see people talking about it
I think its also cause its been nearly 3 years sense its last season and it not being a that big of a Shonen people have just forgotten as a Me major and someone who has alwayae been into science and engineering this show aplead to me and iv been desperately waiting for its next season but i feel like im the only one who has been
Yeah, it's awesome, just watched it a couple weeks ago, now it's on my week to week list.
I fucking love dr stone, cried when he played the record and having bakugo as the dubbed va of the captain is awesome
COMPLETELY AGREE!!!! I adore Dr Stone and this season has been blowing my mind!! I hope that more people begin to to recognize it ❤
I would watch Dr. Stone over any other anime.
I guess I'm just not the target audience for Oshi No Ko or Demon Slayer. I like those animes, but as a nerd, Dr. Stone is #1 for me.
I can't wait for the second half of season 3! And I hope they animate the entire manga!
This is my favorite anime. Gives me chills in most scenes. I dont need hype
Justice to Dr stone , loving yamada at lv 999 and hell's paradise
I like dr. Stones first few seasons but I tried watching the new one and it just kinda felt like a show for toddlers. Not taking itself serious is okay sometimes but it felt like I’d see it on Nickelodeon. No hate to it though I know many like that style
because most people dont rant about their lives on twitter or youtube. Actually twitter is mostly one show + big three most of the time
i just finished dr.stone, and im ngl. It's absolutely FIRE. It is definitely worth more hype
Honestly, the only two anime I’m watching right now that you showed, Hells paradise and Dr Stone.
If Dr. Stone had a slow pace and spent three times the time on the science, I would still watch and love it.
I'm still gonna watch it but I'm just not that excited about it.
i forgot about it till a few days ago when i got recomeded s3
