  • How-to video describing a realistic ballasting of tracks with integrated roadbed, such as Bachmann, Kato, Trix, Roco Geoline or Märklin M-track or C-track.
    How-to-Video eine realistische ballasting von Gleise mit integrierter geisbett, wie Roco Geoline, Märklin M-gleis oder C-gleis beschreibt.
    Most manufacturers has a model of these märklin
    bachmann, kato, roco, industrial rail, mth, micro-track, blackstone
    pro-traxx, Power-Loc, tomytec, fine track and Trix to mention some of the popular brands.
    Video che mostra come ho costruito la massicciata del plastico ferroviario Buzzaceto utilizzando i binari Märklin tipo C per migliorarne l'aspetto. La stessa tecnica può essere utilizzata sui binari Trix, Roco GeoLine o altri con massicciata in plastica incorporata. Le tre fasi principali si possono suddividere nella posa del ballast, nell'incollaggio e nell'invecchiamento con verniciatura ad aerografo. Maggiori

    Interesting approach to not having the track itself attached to the baseboard with fasteners and/or glued on ballast I'll consider this approach with my c-track and k-track layout.

      In the UK, Preston, Lancashire area. I have already put the track down with tunnel's on my n gauge layout Martin, so will have to stick with the cork... I don't think the foam would look right if i was to put it on the rest of it... all well, we live and learn... when I do another layout will be going back to the foam track bed.... will be watching your Videos for some time and looking forward to some new ones.. Thanks Martin..

    Hi, thanks for this very nice video. I have just only a question. I saw in other video that you are driving digital. How to use the M- track rail to get back signal contact for digital system. I have so many old M track rails. Greetings from France, Sybic

      @marklinofsweden  Před 6 lety

      +SYBIC Elsass Thank you! 👍😊 Easiest way is to use the standard contact track 5105 or 2x 5145 with 5115 or 5116. It works perfect with s88 decoder.

    Beautiful video! I would love to ask you a question, the finishing ballast on the way is it sticking or just dropping off the track?

      @marklinofsweden  Před 7 lety

      +Didier Goossens Hi! Thank you for your reply! 👍😊 The finishing ballast is just dropping off the track.

      Didier Goossens Thank you very much for the kind words! 👍 It makes me very happy! Some advance notice to you then.. I will publish a updated version of this video in September, where I fix and use other type of ballast. This improves the realism further, but of course makes the tracks much harder to clean ahead of ebay sale, or before rebuilding using same track sections.. I have already photos on my Instagram using the "ver 2.0". User: "marklin_of_sweden"

      thank you for your message! it makes me very happy. I love your videos because it helps me a lot for the realization of my networks 12mx 1m on 4mx1 m back .... I meet a lot of worry cabling level .... I am a novice with the System marklin ... before I was on the other system ... it would be great to have a tutorial on the connection of signals, switches but also on the possibilities of steering the switch with the signals .... that Must seem like a "stupid" .... but it would be nice, there are quite a lot of people in this case! One thing is certain, you are my mentor in modelism! Would you have an e-mail address in case of question?
