Deputy Raylan Givens has his own, Wild West-style methods of upholding justice, putting him at odds with the criminals he hunts and with his bosses in the U.S. Marshals Service. And an incident prompts his reassignment to the Kentucky district where he grew up. The character is based on one created by author Elmore Leonard in several books and short stories.

Oh man, I had NO IDEA Chadwick Boseman was in this series and I remember a number of incredible guest stars like Eric Roberts, Neal McDonough, Wood and Steve Harris, etc.
RIP Chadiwick it's a treat watching you work no matter when or in what.
Well, to be fair, back in 2011, when Boseman was on Justified, he was still an up and coming film actor. He had only done soap operas and one episode appearances on other shows. He didn't become a super star until playing Black Panther.
@@trueblue6201 Super star? Probably true. But Chadwick had starred in 42 as Jackie Robinson, and Get On Up as James Brown, before he appeared as Black Panther in Civil War. His performances in those movies were widely acclaimed.
@danieldickson8591 This Justified episode was in 2011, 42 was in 2013, and Get On Up was in 2014. So all of them were after his Justified appearance.
It's one of the worst feelings ever to discover an actor for the first time, get hooked on his acting talent to the point where you want to see him in other films or television shows, then find out immediately afterwards that you won't ever have that opportunity since they passed away. RIP Chadwick
.. I wouldn't see this as Raylan's standoff at all
True, Raylan is barely even part of it. This is more of an episode focused on Rachel and getting to know her a little better
Those little exchanges between Art and Raylan were always TV gold. Such great dialog. One of those things you want more of but know that would ruin it, like the scenes with Raylan and Rachel and/or Guterson.
RIP Chadwick Boseman
We lost a damn good actor
Chadwick Boseman didn’t need a hand to do magic; he just needed a script 😂
Just because he's dead doesn't mean he was good. Black panther was garbage.
Art was one of the best “angry police captains”
I don’t cry easily. But whenever I see Chadwick Bosman, I cry. What an irreplaceable man.
I understand his desperation. Unfortunately. Mine cost me two years. It sad and amazing how quickly and unintentionally things can get out of hand. This episode is always difficult to watch.
Chadwick just a bit actor here before he got famous. But he already showed us his superb acting skill.
Damn I completely forgot Chadwick was in this series, gonna have to go back and rewatch this
My boy Chadwick ❤ RIP brother
Was Raylan even in this scene? 😂
Lmao Chadwick funny AF in this scene
Christian bale in the prestige made it work
I swear I remember every scene of this series. But don't remember this or Chadwick
Well you wouldn't have. Chadwick was just a soap opera actor back in 2011.
How dare you shoot T'Challa
The Raylan Givens is about to show the whole world that I am superior to me.
🔥😈🔥
Raylan's Intense Standoff???
Her grip is for a revolver. Hollywood, lol
Wait, I don’t remember T’Challa being in this lol
It was before he became famous back in 2011.
Someone explain to me how that was an intense standoff with Raylan?
It was intense. There was a shootout. And Raylan was there. Duh! 😂😂😂😂
And he did shoot. The female deputy just shot faster! 😅😅😅
@@Sparky0627 I guess our definitions of intense are vastly different.
Black Panther vs Rashad Tate
@jimmyconway2800 homegirls is fly😊
" I need to see my son"
lol that's new
She needs to go back to handgun training, as you don't "tea cup" the handgun.
Always a firearms expert in every comments section. It's a TV show nobody cares !!!
@@toyotanerd2269 Some do.
"Conversate?" Pretty sure there's no such word, bro.
might wanna google that
Yes it is look it up.
@@louistaplin4665, I stand corrected.
This is the only weak episode in the otherwise perfect Season 2.
Well, it was a Rachel show and while she’s a good actress, I never thought she had “it”.
@@SomebodyelseBiteme you mean Rachel episode? She's a good actress in parts but yeah, she never really popped in any particular episode. But to be fair, both her and Tim were severely underwritten characters and had maybe 5 lines per season lol.
@@AimeeO_is_watchingGutterson was way underused, he was easily as competent as Raylan and just as cool in a different way. Other than Raylan and Boyd he was my fav there just wasn't enough of him
@@ray.shoesmith I liked Tim, too. He was a funny, snarky character but I bet if he had a bigger presence, people would get sick of him. It works because it is executed in small doses.
Worst storyline in Justified.
What a horrible racist story on the front end.
How.... TF.... Was that racist. I'm betting that's where your hate filled mind goes just about anything
That odd. I didn't see Raylan face off with anyone
