Well, I'm from Down South..I've lived in Newcastle for 30 years. Took me a while to get used to the whole Mackam/Geordie thing...But I love the Northeast and it's people. This did make me laugh though 🤣🤣🤣

Over here in Newcastle, England we are called Geordies. But we also have a cross city rival 10 miles away called Sunderland, The people of Sunderland are called Mackems and WE HATE THE SAD MACKEM BASTARDS!!!!

Sunderland lost all its heavy industry shipbuilding and coal mines and had its industrial heart ripped out.The city still hasn't recovered.A once proud town-city was sacrificed by London Westminster govt.Remember what goes around comes around,mags.

Newcastle was the largest exporter of coal in the country and also was a ship building city that got its two main industries shut down lets not forget... not exactly had it easy either.

While we're discussing grammar and spelling - "its" should have an apostrophe (that's the little line 2 keys along from the bottom of the enter key) as it means "it is" in this context - we call that a contraction, and that word isn't just a labour pain! "Fucking" is spelt with a "g". There should also be a few commas and quotation marks in there, but that's okay, we all understand Sunderland is still catching up to the educational standards of the rest of the world.
