How to make a BAMBOO BOW: Bambow 2.0

In this video, I combine multiple small bamboo sampling’s to make a powerful bamboo bow, quiver, and some arrows. By using different lengths of bamboo pieces, I was able to taper the bow off toward the tips, and have it thicker in the middle, evening out the forces of the bow, and increase its power. The bamboo bow shoots nicely and can be very accurate from a distance while being easy to make and requiring little materials.

If you have any poly baling twine around, I've found it makes a pretty decent string. 4 strands of it twisted handles 50+ lb bows

I always wondered how an Irish linen wrap to a pool cue was done.... (It is the same wrap you did on the bow). I just didn't know how they hid the knot on the wrap.....

@@thecraftsmenspark4963 Yep. Try it, man. In a complete survival situation you may not have manufactured materials like kevlar string. Maybe you can use some natural tissues like the bark of the tree or some vines to weave up a cord. I’ve seen people do this to make a stone sling with completely natural tissue.
