私も小さい頃、竹で弓を作ったことがありました。この動画と同じやり方です。太い竹を割って、一定の長さ、幅にして、たき火をして火に竹をあぶり、曲げました。矢には、紙で作った羽を付けました。子どもながら、良く飛ぶので危なかったですが面白かったです。

very nice maybe in the future you could try making one out of another type of wood, this would make it stronger provided that the bow is thick enough and you can get wood to make one

If it can kill its good enough, even if it breaks you can make another one. Bamboos grow very fast and are as if they are unlimited. Very cheap out there. Plus its easier to make bows put of bamboo. That is a reason why people usually use bamboo. But ay, it aint bad, its actually really good

You should dry the bamboo first (i usually dry it for at least 1 month), because fresh green bamboo is easily to shape but very weak

@@m.palkon6657 bambu yg dikeringkan itu tujuannya supaya daya lenturnya stabil krn bambu yg masih segar itu daya lenturnya mudah sekali hilang. Memang sedikit lebih susah dibentuk kalo bambunya udah kering, tapi power yg dihasilkan jauh lbh kuat dan stabil. Kalo bisa cari bambu petung krn bambu ini kuat sekali dan bagus utk dijadikan busur maupun anak panah

It's good for compression and tension... I think it's such low poundage because it's "green" bamboo, but hopefully an expert can chime in
Not sure if that bow has enough power behind it, no offense. It was just hitting cardboard n the sound of it cracking tends to make me believe theres micro fractures in the wood or peeling off of the glue. Tapering it a lil further to help decrease the possible fractures n increase the bending is the way to go i think. Tapering must be gradual to the point that the middle piece is 2x thicker than the tip of the bow. Just my humble opinion 🙏

good on you .I think he was showing a basic design that is made totally by hand & encourage the interest in an art that is fast been lost .and letting those of us that want to try & improve on it to try..i was thinking a layer of glue & sinew or maybe horn.I would bet money the old people had a way of making bamboo based bows to kill food & other tribes

should have tried gluing one or two more pieces of bamboo to it. its too weak as it is, so the arrow isn't going too fast. also, the outer limbs should be narrower. having them that wide makes for less speed.

While pulling an arrow the sound of the bow is very nice.
The bow is good but I think it's not powerfull bcause the arrow speed is very low speed compared to other bow, maybe you can try new method on how to make strong bow and powerfull so the arrow can fly super fast.

Первая - звук спускаемой тетивы (явственно слышимый в замедленном воспроизведении) . Второй звук поражаемой мишени. Между ними прошло 330 миллисекунд. т.е. приблизительно одна треть секунды. Нехитрая арифметика показала, что за секунду стрела при такой скорости пролетит 54 метра. Делаем погрешность в пользу скептиков ( 4 метра минус.) Итого получаем чистые 50 м.сек.
