You said it right Rox, counseling is hard and you will have to do a lot of self-reflection. However, people don't understand that. They will say they are willing to go to counseling and they are willing to do whatever is necessary to correct the situation, but a lot of times people already have it in their head how they want things to play out and as soon as it isn't looking how they pictured it, they are ready to bail. If you really want to get to the truth of any situation and you are suggesting counseling as a way of dealing, you have to come as a blank slate and an open mind because it hardly ever goes as you picture it in your mind, but if you are willing to stay the course and be involved, you will be a better person for it.

I think that Greg is trying to re-brand Nene. If not him, someone on the team. But it seems like operation upgrade has been in effect ever since Nene started hanging with Marlo and doing that intern position for the news station. The problem is that she is being required to give off this positive and fabulous personality but that's not truly who she is and she's not good enough to keep up the facade. So she tries to not be so nasty and so rude but she can't quite let it go. She needs to work with a therapist in order to get down to her core and rebuild, otherwise that nastiness of hers isn't going anywhere any time soon. I think there are a lot of insecurities at her core. Her self esteem is completely shot, even with all this 'success' that she's experiencing. I can't think of any other reason that she's always intimidated by other women who are successful.
Nene can't has no introspection. She either can't or refuses to see her character flaws. And worse, she can't handle others telling her about herself. And more than that, she's constantly being rewarded for her foul antics by receiving so many opportunities. Which multiples her antics! I feel for Phaedra, and I feel for Kandi. Phaedra's issue isn't bigger or deeper than Kandi's, it's just different. I know what it's like to be fired and I know what it's like to fire someone. I've had to fire people who really needed to be fired and it made me uneasy. I always kept in my mind how it was for me and what I had at stake. If I felt that way about someone who deserved to be fired, I can't imagine what it's like to have to fire 20 people who DID NOT DESERVE IT ! My friends are like that too. They know how I am; sometimes I may feel like talking and sometimes I don't. I just feel if you are a true friend of someone, you take them the way they are and vice versa. If something they do bothers you, you tell them one on one (I can never understand why these women always need an audience when they confront one another or the need to talk about it among one another to get validation?). I think the whole therapy season was handled wrong and it was a pileup season, one fed upon another. As for Phaedra, something similar happened to me. Those people who I considered friends that were not there were cut. I have not heard from them since, nor have they heard from me.

I think that Greg is trying to re-brand Nene. If not him, someone on the team. But it seems like operation upgrade has been in effect ever since Nene started hanging with Marlo and doing that intern position for the news station. The problem is that she is being required to give off this positive and fabulous personality but that's not truly who she is and she's not good enough to keep up the facade. So she tries to not be so nasty and so rude but she can't quite let it go. She needs to work with a therapist in order to get down to her core and rebuild, otherwise that nastiness of hers isn't going anywhere any time soon. I think there are a lot of insecurities at her core. Her self esteem is completely shot, even with all this 'success' that she's experiencing. I can't think of any other reason that she's always intimidated by other women who are successful.

Nene can't has no introspection. She either can't or refuses to see her character flaws. And worse, she can't handle others telling her about herself. And more than that, she's constantly being rewarded for her foul antics by receiving so many opportunities. Which multiples her antics! She'll never fully be better because she's constantly believing her own hype. Nene's a miserable person and her relationships are so fake and manufactured. Perhaps she is decent to a few people but she comes across as a parasite constantly looking for a new host to drain from.

I feel for Phaedra, and I feel for Kandi. Phaedra's issue isn't bigger or deeper than Kandi's, it's just different. I know what it's like to be fired and I know what it's like to fire someone. I've had to fire people who really needed to be fired and it made me uneasy. I always kept in my mind how it was for me and what I had at stake. If I felt that way about someone who deserved to be fired, I can't imagine what it's like to have to fire 20 people who DID NOT DESERVE IT ! Now that I think about it, Kandi's predicament WAS greater. Phaedra's losing the father of her children, but that marriage was already done. On the whole friendship tip...I am 38 and I gave up on the whole friendship thing at 24. I definitely go inside to deal with my problems. I don't reach out and I have a problem asking for help and that definitely caused issues in my friendships. So after being misunderstood and falling out with people. I just said friends ain't for me! My friends are like that too. They know how I am; sometimes I may feel like talking and sometimes I don't. I just feel if you are a true friend of someone, you take them the way they are and vice versa. If something they do bothers you, you tell them one on one (I can never understand why these women always need an audience when they confront one another or the need to talk about it among one another to get validation?). I think the whole therapy season was handled wrong and it was a pileup season, one fed upon another. As for Phaedra, something similar happened to me. Those people who I considered friends that were not there were cut. I have not heard from them since, nor have they heard from me.
