Phantom Fury Review - One of the Surprises of 2024

- Phantom Fury is quite easily one of the most refined boomer shooters in the market today. It combines classic action movie tropes and 90s shooter gameplay with modern visual technology and level design, making for a fun rampage across its in-game world.
Interesting to see it called “refined” given most reviews talk about the plethora of bugs.
As they repeatedly show footage of an enemy glitching behind cover.
That's because THIS review is just a non-stop gibberish that dances
on the line between random mumbling, devoid of sense or downright lying.
One bug in a good game isn't bad 😂

This is actually the most fun single player shooter I got to play in 2024 !!! Not just Boomer Shooter but overall a very good shooter that remembers to be fun !!!
Mixed on Steam, with 14 positive ratings and 11 negative ratings. Hmmm...
Steam reviews don't mean squat alot of times. I know a ton of great games that are mixed for "various reasons" You are better of trying it yourself if your interested and not let others sway your opinion.

Steam reviews. Particularly, the more thorough ones. Inadvertently, people often
give up details that any other source of information would want to conceal, or
ignore. In this case, you'd be better off getting any other game of your choice,
but this one. You'll save yourself the disappointment, the time and the money,
which this game clearly does not deserve. Neither a single cent, nor minute.
Give it some time, and it'll get a one-way ticket into 'mostly negative' category.

I just played through the first level and didn't notice any bugs as of yet. There must be a huge bug later I haven't come across judging by the hate. I'll come back to it a little later, because I think it's pretty great so far, considering what it's going for in general. /shrug
I never take this channel seriously after it said that Starfield’s Neon blows Cyberpunk’s night city out of the water.
I had this game wishlisted on Steam and then completely forgot about it until today.

Had no clue this was a follow up sequel to Ion Fury.
I have no experience of this game but on the evidence of this video, it looks great. I do own Ion Fury on my switch and it's so so. This looks better to me. If the game is glitchy this dude doesn't mention that massive detail.
The switch version needs another patch surely. We voidpoint are trying to get the porting company to add it.
If you really like Ion Fury...you're in for a rude awakening with this one...

So far only Sponsored vids from Tyler McVicker and Big Fry are positive. All of the others are negative. I would say this was sponsored or hoping to be in the future.
Just play the game :D I don't know what's with the reviews and my channel is far to small to be sponsored but I'm playing on Xbox Series X and Phantom Fury is so much better than all teh Boomer Shooters I've tried so far ( Boltgun, Project Warlock, Wrath, Ion Fury ) You can't even really compare these games. Phantom Fury is bright (has a gamma setting) and fun with beautiful scenery in 4K even though they went for a old school look. Nothing looks or feels off. And it's dirtcheap ( 25 bucks on Xbox )

@HumanTimeCapsule Yeah :D I just don't get the hate Phantom Fury gets. I loved it ever since the trailer. I was nervous cause of people like GMAN that the game wouldn't be good but I now understand that his taste is totally different from mine. He liked Wrath Aeon of ruiin so I got that game and I don't like it at all. He didn't like Phantom Fury but I Love it :D

This is bug ridden garbage. Maybe it will be good one day, but it is not now. Recommend watching the worth a buy video on that channel.
