Janet, I'm going on the Bliss as a solo traveler (in a Studio Cabin) on April 3. Can I message you a question or two about your experience as a solo traveler on Bliss? It's my first solo cruise and my first cruise in 20 years. I'd love to know if you stayed in studio cabin and how connections were made between the solo travelers for dinners, excursions, etc. THANKS!!
How is the water is the water choppy when you're on the ship I get seasick very easy? Sailing out April 3rd.
It was pretty calm while we were sailing. Olena mentioned during one our filmed segments that she gets seasick very easily, so she takes dramamine to start the day and was fine. The cruise we did in Alaska in September 2021 was a little choppy the first night and then mellowed out afterward.
Take ginger tablets 2 a day starting 2 days before you get on the boat. Also drink 2 ginger ale per day. This prevents sea sickness for most people and is a natural alternative to drugs.
