Thanks. I use that sound to earn the trust of the magpies around, so they come with no fear on my balcony, even with opened door, and they can eat the food i give them, and they also bring food to their nest. Wonderful.
One of the smartest birds out there, and endlessly fascinating to watch.I guess there are some people out there who at the sight of something that moves can only think of a way to destroy it. That's people for you.. the most invasive and destructive species around.
What is the deal with people killing these beautiful and these very intelligent birds? They are a protected species in a lot of places, so my guess is that people are killing them illegally in the places where they are protected at, because some people hate them and some people think that they are pests. I am not one of those people. Personally, I love magpies and I would like them to be safe from harm and from danger, if that is possible. It is not right to kill these birds, just because people hate them.
Well in my area they are semi invasive, terroristic and harmful to our other smaller bird population along with deciding to attack our Cat. Plus after years of listening to them, they gotten annoying.
@@phantomofdetubez2376 You've probably got Eurasian magpies in your area then. Small birds are not usually a part of a black-billed magpies' diet. However, the Eurasian magpies have a habit of killing small birds most of the time. That's what I've seen in some CZcams videos, at least.
