Huskies are highly intelligent dogs and very verbal too. Ours made the funniest sounds as if he wanted to speak.
I would describe them as highly affectionate, highly social... but definitely not intelligent :) That's not a knock on them, in fact they are among my favorite breed of all dogs. But they learn considerably slower than many other breeds. However, they are among the most social of dog breeds, if you like a dog that loves to play and receive / give affection, you want a husky for sure. But training them will take longer than other breeds usually. Still, 9 times out of 10 I'd take a husky over other breeds just for their highly social nature.
My son's 2 huskies are very smart. They know if I say to go out the front or back. Storm the boy sings the song of his people but his sister does not. She was sold to a neglectful home which my son rescued her from so we think that is why she isn't vocal. They both know what we are saying though.
Nobody knows anything about animals, animals are not indigenous to this planet animals,crystals,plants and other things are transported from elsewhere animals were genetically manipulated to able to thrive on this planet I don't know why the extraterrestrials do this but I know that animals are not from here, you must know we are not the oldest beings in the universe, there are beings that existed before us we are the youngest as you can tell by our nature how uncivilized,violent and egotistical we are,most races are benevolent and there technology far superior not all races like technology they use it but not much as some of them do I don't know why I'm telling you this everyone is to close minded for information like this what a bunch of lost causes the human race is

I give so much credit to the foster mom for being able to love Opal enough to give her up after two years. That is pure love ❤
...and for waiting all that time until she was absolutely sure she had found the perfect home for Opal. (Doing the same thing myself, except it's for a bonded brother and sister pair of juvenile cats. Long haul journey...).

Wisconsin is a perfect place to end up for Opal with that thick fur coat. She looks so happy. You women ought to win the lottery. People like both of you transform a life from pain and loneliness to joy and love.
"She doesn't have to run anymore" broke me. Precious girl finally has a loving home forever home where she now can run with a purpose towards open arms.
Respect for holding onto her for soooo long, and respect to the woman for traveling several states to come pick her up. Both of these women are absolutely dedicated!!!

I used to work for a dog rescue. It was my job to do the daily chores like feeding and cleaning kennels as well as exercise and stimulation and actually catching stray dogs. I have to say what ive learned from being out trying to catch strays its astonishing how many people have absolutely no concern. People don't help. Humans really have to do better especially for creatures like dogs that literally idolize us and depend on us.

The 'head drop' is what my blessed girl chihuahua gave me all the time (she grew wings just over a week ago). From my supposed experience, it is an utter sign of love and loyalty. Her brother doesn't do that, but he does in different ways. I've learnt from experience that dogs (and cats) show emotion with differing actions according to their own individual personalities xxx
