The human mind can produce indescribable beauty and unimaginable horror. Tchaikovsky was a musical genius.
Korsakov, Mahler, Mussorgsky, Stravinsky was a better. Tchaik had a very bored simple melody and all
@@cinemagraphymahivara2000 Oh do shut up.

@@cinemagraphymahivara2000You are absolutely 100% incorrect.

The best part is 13:15 ; no words could describe the beauty of melody at here.
I feel romance, nostalgia, sadness and happiness all at once
Thanks !!
And 14:40

They all smile when they play these parts! :D
Music (that's without lyrics) is like body language. It speaks and is understood universally without words. This is a great example.
It's called pieces :)
except if you have Asperger's
Indeed
Of course
Well, even body language is not that universal
If I'm correct, bulgarians nod when they disagree and shake their heads when they agree
Outstanding cymbal playing by the percussionist 5:56
And 15:36
What about the violins. It's hella hard to play that. I speak from experience
@@lucystafford8692 they always get love, goes without saying
They almost never show cymbalist or timpanist and I love it they showed them several times in this piece.
Okay, I just cried. The whole piece is exhilarating but that ending.... the funeral march, then the eulogy in the woodwinds rising to heavenly song and then those sharp arrhythmic chords. This is not a poem, it is an epic.

I know the main love theme is amazing in this piece. However, am I the only one that is completely in love with the entire introduction of this work? Tchaikovsky's use of counterpoint and dissonance is seamless. I would argue that his biggest flex in this entire work his ability to manipulate the voicings in different ways to resolve to the same E minor a couple of times. 3:08 - 3:50. SO AMAZING geez
I loved it too
It gave me goosebumps all the times
This. This, precisely.
Yes, and I think the entire work as a whole is just breathtaking, the ending is the epitome of the Romantic era, yearning... The counterpoint that you speak to at the beginning of the work is exquisite..
You’re not the only one!! I agree it’s amazing!
I loved when the second had the background sixteenths if that makes sense (totally not biased cause I played this as a second)
How do you keep living after hearing THAT? What a blissful composition. Maybe it is the part where Juliet joins Romeo in death that the composer conveyed. Oh, my God.
Our school sent me here and I'm very satisfied
Ay HAHAHHAHAHAUAYA
Bravo! That short bit from 18:00 has got to be one of the most romantic moments ever....
My favorite part of the entire thing 😁

Musica vera ...grandiosa... Grandissimo Autore
WHAT A MARVELLOUS FINALE, OF COURSE IT'S TCHAIKOVSKY WHO ELSE?
non solo il finale...ogni singola nota è un capolavoro
This is a great video. The cameras picked up the main instruments in every passage and special thumbs up for showing the cymbalist, the bassoonist and the trumpet players
I love the way this music changes it’s feeling in a second!
Não me canso de ouvir essa peça maravilhosa! Brasil, SP, Abril 2024! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💗💗💗💐💐💐
When you hear Tchaikovsky it's goosebumps time.
i fee like Tchaikovsky was one of those ppl that could smell and taste music
Tchaikovsky perfectly depicts the passion and strong mutual feelings of romance between Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Amazing performance for a revolutionary composer!
I felt every emotion-like being thrown out in every possible direction but still managed to have a grip and hang to that last semblance of hope but eventually resigned at the finale and just let go. My god. That was captivatingly sad.
How are there not 1000 comments on this glorious performance??? The artistry of both conductor and instrumentalists was spell-binding! Bravo to you all! You and Tchaikovsky have lifted my soul this morning.
Unfortunely, this is not for everybody Juliet.
BEAUTIFUL AND EXCELENT PERFORMANCE. THANKYOU VERYMUCH
Tchaikovsky.......surely shown here to be one of the most universal of composers .
nice
Excellent conductor who stays out of the way and let's the music and musicians play themselves. He trusts them and vice versa. He seems very humble yet very skilled and formidable in his musical knowledge of the piece. My kind of conductor.
Spectacular performance! That romantic theme is so typical of Tchaikovsky, full of life and such a richness that you can't help but fly with the music as it takes you sailing above and beyond your wildest dreams.
Outstanding job, the people who played this should be very proud of themselves.
Nobody used the French horn better than Tchaikovsky
Nobody used the orchestra better than Tchaikovsky in my humble opinion
Same with Cor Anglais and Viola
6:05 Amazing, Beautiful, Motivating

🎶 "In the timeless embrace of classical music, every note carries the weight of centuries, weaving a tapestry of emotions that transcends the boundaries of time and space. It's not just a melody; it's an enchanting journey through the echoes of history and the depths of the human soul." 🎻✨

The last couple minutes give me goosebumps every.single.time I listen to it. It never fails, and I have heard it so many times. There is an intangible quality of beauty that is thread through all of the brilliant composers’ work.

Ooooh! I have just learnt that this will be one of the next pieces that I will be playing with my orchestra. Can't wait! What a beautiful eclectic masterpiece.
Our orchestra is also about to start rehearsing this piece! I can't wait. It's epic
Grandiose, spectaculaire, tantôt magique à féerique, tantôt d'une large tendresse amoureuse, plus tard vindicatif à déchaîné. Contrastes magnifiques. Bravo!
Excellent interpretation!
Woww so great amazing fabolous thank God
Thanks for this very good version. It's a pleasure to see still good orchestras keeping the classic (and the best) position: first, seconds, violas, celli and contrabassi, in this order. Bravo!!

After memorizing this composition and thinking about why I enjoyed it so much, I concluded it is the tragic imagery and rythymic power of the composition.
Amazing!!
This is a Masterpiece that show a special kind of love.

Estoy completamente enamorado de este hermoso tema!
Magnificent!
Just love the Gevanthausorchester of Leipzig, conducted by Olgan Durjan
What a jewel. One theme is kind of "scherzando", too bad Tchaikovsky could not make an Opera out of it (it was in project). Thanks for posting !

Crazy how music has gone from: who could create the most exhilarating beautiful composition taking inspiration from the world; to: who can make the most album sales. Performances and pieces like these stand the test of time…most modern albums are lucky if they are remembered 4 years later.
