- Time to add some more lights to this beast of a machine!!
15” lightbar fits perfectly in the front bumper which already had predrilled holes for various sized light bars!
CanAm had prewired this machine so all you have to do it trace the wire into the cab to attach it to the rocket switch!
We installed the lightbar on the time delayed circuit so once the Defender is turned off the lightbar will stay on for a 15s delay! Such a convenient feature to help get into the garage, the house or provide extra lighting when loading onto the trailer at night!

The relay harness came with the lightbar! I believe there are similar ones to this one available on Amazon that come with the 15” bottom mount lightbar with the relay harness included! & glad the video helpful!! Thanks for checking it out!
Any ideas where the bumper came from? I've been looking for one like this that doesnt block block the turn signals.
This bumper came stock on the machine!
Which wires did you connect to under hood? I have the same wiring harness, but it being a 3 wire connection it throwing me off. Mine has a black, white, and blue wire on the switch side. Did you hook up all three to the factory ran wires under the hood or just two?
Would you be able to tell me who makes that light bar and where you got the wiring harness from please?
It was provided by the machine owner, I just know it was purchased online and the wiring kit was included with the lightbar. I don’t have the machine in my possession to check what brand it is. I do know it’s a 15inch 38cm and that’s the perfect fit for this particular mounting position on the machine
I have the same machine and am installing a light bar as well. Did you have to cut any wires under the dash or just plug into existing wires?
I hooked up the light bar as per normal, no cutting any wires then I tapped into the headlight switch with a 3M wire connecter. This gives it the 20 second time delay when you turn off the key
Do you need a relay lol i threw mine
I don’t always use them, or I’ll run them off the headlight relay. I don’t think the LEDs draw enough to use them but some customers want them and purchase them so I’ll use them in that case
@@MacCustoms ok cause the harness came wit them but I couldn't get it to work so I cut the fuse and relay out but see everyone else using them so got kinda nervous

I purchased the oem light bar kit. Going to wire it up tomorrow. The instructions say to hook the rocker switch up to the key power . I think it’s better to connect to the main light switch .Is that how you get the 20 second delay when the key power is turned off?
I connected it to the main light switch to get the 20 second delay.
