The litter has been pretty much the same under 4 or 5 prime ministers so I've observed! Sad you see it as waste of effort, its certainly an issue but I think my feeling is litter encourages more litter.. so clearing it does make a difference in the short term.. and to wildlife
Very altruistic, although in Starmers Ungodly Britain, a wholesale waste of effort.
