- and so it begins! 2024 is not in my opinion going to be a fun year to be a farmer. markets are dropping fertilizer price is climbing over that ship in the harbor in Maryland. parts are going up fuels going up. hay is dropping
corn is way the FUQ down beans are slowly losing value. and the dollar is decreasing every damn day. but here we go. - Zábava
It was Tim! That was awesome! 😀
14 years ago i was here :) and wes is a goooood man
Thanks for sharing your updates. Wishing you and your family the best.
Hi Wess, not much planting going on here in Vermont,to wet
I’m like you Wes had a piece of inner tube for a sling shot. Tim just think of all the things William will be blaming you for as a teenager.
Been watching sense you started. Thanks
I love pea's for a cover on my sandy soil I'd termanat alfalfa/Timothy after 2nd & plant tillage radish in mid Aug then plant peas in early- mid April plow em under about father's day then plant alfalfa/Timothy again mid August works great...pea @ 50lbs an acre
You ought to keep a few for
seed. I'll be couris to see how
big they get in 30 days for your
green manure crop
Great video Wes thanks for sharing have a great day
I been watching you for almost 10 years keep up the good content and staying true to yourself
Thanks for the video!
I know why you plant peas because I pay attention when you talk about adding nitrogen to the soil. 👍
I take it its not too late for peas. I never grew any.
I sure do like your farming methods. Guys could learn a lot from you. Take care Wes.
Hey Wes! Nice job not swearing today 😊. Central mn
How many units of N will those peas use up growing in the next 40 days vs how many units of N will they fix? Interesting stuff 👍🏻
Seems like everything comes in super sacks these days. Where I used to work we got ADM ( amonium dy-molydate ) crystals which was the start of molybdenum metal powder and they also received APT ( amonium para tungstate ) which is the start of tungsten metal powder. I have also picked up coal in a super sack.
Happy to see you in the field
New camera is awesome!
Nice one,
Peas will come up in cold ground and is an excellent. choice.
Should harvest if you have time for seed but doubt you have that much time .
In northern central Kansas were to be dry like last year
Watch sales in Iowa we constantly have seed tenders on our consignment sale. 3-8000
William already has it figured out 😂😂😂
I'm curious how peas are going to grow on no till corn ground.. we wait and see.. good video wess...
The 7530 looks beefy with them tyres
Our new air seeder only has one zerk per unit
It was Tim aunt Beth! I swear! 🤣😂
Good video.
I think you got enough HP to pull that drill.. lol
Hell no they have more grease fittings
Wait when you get 10 years older!!!! GPS is wonderful!!!!
William has a chip off the old block lol
Can you imagine farming that whole place with 3 hand crank Farmalls? The family that place is named for had an F-30, an F-20 and an F-12.
Unfortunately we are still wet in Ohio
👍👍
👍
Leave some to harvest for seed?
The pea seed you use is not treated, is it?
👍🏻🍻
Hi, Aunt Beth!!
Hi to Aunt Beth, and to Smaxychic! Having a good week, and hope you both are too. 👍
In your live yesterday you were saying the cowpeas will also put 120units of nitrogen in the soil for your cash crop. Will the peas put that much nitrogen in the soil since they won't reach maturity before you terminate them to plant your cash crop?
Outstanding in your field 👍 watching from the bottom of the top of the flat earth baby!
Where are you located?
Make “ok so” great again!
