    My adult beginner classes are just giving me combinations with no instruction. Your lessons, and breaking down these steps have been soooo helpful! So thankful I've found you!

    Great explanation! No-one has ever been able before to explain to me how to go from glissade to Sout de chat. I love how you explained that the angle changes on these moves.

    I think this is an excellent video explaining a series of steps that is daunting to beginners (with the whole class looking on) especially the hard to grasp arm movements in tombe pas de bourree. One aspect of grand allegro I would like to see covered is the transitions or turns at the corner when the dancer reverses direction and comes back across the floor. I know there are a lot more examples than just pique arabesque. Good work!

      Awesome, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad it helps break some of that down for you. We'll work on breaking down the other transitions as well, there are indeed many ways to change directions! :)

    Great video. I love how you broke this down so that a beginner like me could understand. We havent done this yet in class, so I will clear me an area at home and start practicing this so that when we do these in class, I will hopefully be a little more confident. Thanks Julie!

    When you do the passe leading in to the saut do you turn out or keep in parallel I never can get this mostly I stick with grand jetes 😥

    • @BrocheBallet
      @BrocheBallet  Před 4 lety +1

      Great question! You do want to **try** to resist the leg turning in and try your best to keep the heel forward and the turnout active, but it does often end up looking parallel, so it's hard to really see it as it's happening, and it's difficult to achieve as well as you're pushing off for such a big jump. Keep working at it! :)
